Thank you for posting! You're the only person that I've seen that shows what the music sheet/score would look like; for anyone who needs to know to write it or read for a Cajon Drum would benefit!

Really happy to read that. Takes time and effort to add it to the videos but it seems like people really benefit so that’s good!

Just found your channel and subscribed already. Love how simple and yet complete, organized and well explained your material is. I've never seen someone break the video into small sections like you do - it's so easy to find what one is looking for this way.

Bruna Chaves super happy to hear the video sections feature is working. It’s new and takes a bit of work to put the time’s in but just hearing that it helps makes all the effort worth it! Welcome to the channel!

This one was great as usual, Ross! Wish it had L&R indications in the sheet music, but still great.
@rosslmccallum6 жыл бұрын
Ah, sometimes the different apps I use are harder than others to add that in. But luckily it's RLRL the whole way through. If it's ever something more complex I'll draw attention to it.

Sadly my hands do something other than what you are doing. No idea how to fix that. Love your lessons and appreciate how you break it down for non-musically talented people like me.

I have been a steering wheel drummer for YEARS and just bought a cajon a week ago. I have watched and practiced a couple of your videos over and over and I think I'm getting it!! What is a website where I can access more of those drum bars you are showing and I can tell you are listening to on your laptop?
@rosslmccallum6 жыл бұрын
Hello thanks so much! Glad you’re getting the hang of it :-) Do a google search for “Groove Scribe”. It’s a tool by a teacher called Mike Johnston. Maybe have a go at transcribing some rhythms and saving them for your practice! Good luck and have fun.

Hi Ross, practicing your beginner videos with Groove Scribe, finding it very useful. I have a doubt though, a very basic one. Not even sure how to explain myself, hehe! How do I put those 6 notes in a 4x4?
@meliacofede4 жыл бұрын
I mean on the Groove Scribe
@rosslmccallum4 жыл бұрын
I understand! The subdivisions (1/16) etc are on the left side of the screen. The groups of 6s are called 16th triplets. Select that on the left side and you’re good to go! Also thanks so much for joining up as a member. Super happy to have you. That blue members badge looks neat too 👍

Hey ross can you mention L R hand subtitles in your videos.
@rosslmccallum4 жыл бұрын
Mohak Mohta I realised I didn’t have them on this video because I think I hadn’t figured out how to write them in the software I was using. All my new videos have them now. But thankfully, this lesson is only RLRLRLRL for the whole time.
