Is there any non-pharamcological advice to living with CAE?

I couldn’t find any non-pharmacological treatment/recommendations that were specific to CAE. I would assume the general lifestyle recommendations for general coronary artery disease would still apply though (moderate exercise, eating healthy, quit smoking if you smoke, stress management, limit alcohol, maintain a healthy weight, keep blood pressure/cholesterol/blood sugar under control, etc.) Your cardiologist can hopefully give you more information.

If it is a dilator why would a doctor prescribe it to a person with Corinary Artery ectasia?

Great question. My understanding is that calcium channel blockers are used in patients with coronary artery ectasia to prevent coronary vasospasm (random tightening of the blood vessels that bring blood/oxygen to the heart). pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34660041/
