Caledonian Sleeper MK5s Public Debut - Railcam 28/29 April 2019

Sunday 28th April 2019 marked the long awaited public debut of the Serco owned and CAF built MK5 Caledonian Sleeper Coaches.
Specially modified GB Railfreight Class 92 locomotives will eventually haul trains, made up from the 75 brand new coaches, between London and Glasgow/Edinburgh, where rebuilt Class 73 locomotives will take the Highland portions north to Inverness, Aberdeen and Fort William.
The initial entry into service will see the MK5's working the Lowland Sleeper's and our cameras at Camden, Peterborough, York and Cramlington captured the very first of these journeys.....

Managed to get it in daylight because it was what was it, 3 hours late? The Inverness/Ft William arrived about 1117 today!
