Gonna be honest, I'm getting to the point where I might need a mental health year.

Thankful that I work for a company who gets this. My manager literally will say.. take a day or 2 off. And it’s paid. Firm believer in mental health days. Took some getting use to because most companies don’t care. Hey folks… take the day even if all u do is sit around in your underwear with the dog watching tv. It REALLY makes a difference.

Life is a lot less stressful if you don't have to worry about the basic needs of every human being - food, water, shelter. Our society uses money as a chain to keep you from living to your full potential of happiness. As long as they dangle the illusion of money = happiness in front of you, you will be an unhappy slave.

@Ghost Tape No. 9 Or how about give humans the fundamental essentials in life for free, and let them work for anything extra? You people live in such polar extremes, you can't see the vast amount of mutual opportunity that lies in between. Capitalist, Socialist, Democrat, Republican, Black, White- as long as you keep lying to yourselves about how different you are, and don't accept the truth that we are all human - your "empires" will continue to rise and fall like the tide.

At my work I've been there for about 7 months. I've never missed a day and done overtime since... But today I actually did take today off. Cause I started falling over when I started to walk... I know it's 100% overworked. I'm not getting paid thou but I need this day off or I will end up in the hospital 😵

I for one can understand. I currently work at a daycare and it can definitely be emotionally and mentally draining all day, everyday. It’s definitely not easy. So happy I took my mental health day off because the past two days has been feeling draining to say the least. We definitely need to normalize taking time off for our mental healths and NOT feel bad for doing so.

I don’t see the problem with a mental health day every once in a while I mean we all know or should know mental health is real and I’m a very hard worker who suffers from mental health so if I or you needs a couple of days or weeks to recover out of the year; that should be law and a right! There’s a difference from being lazy and not caring about work and another when your mind and body say hey just relax, read, meditate, pray, and even sleep in 🛌! I hope everyone a blessed 2022 and beyond also let’s stick together y’all this world is already a scary and weird place lol don’t make it any harder!

It's time for a "mental health day" the Friday before Memorial Day, the Friday before Labor day, Good Friday AND Easter Monday and oh yeah, Halloween is on a Thursday so...four day weekend, mental health day on Friday too.

And this is why I want a work from home job. Yes, I know it’s still work and I’m sure like everything it looks better on paper, but damn, I’d like to see the sky during my day.

I'll be honest, that extra day off really does make all the difference. You'd think you would have enough time within a two day span to rest up and get all of your affairs in order, but you really don't.

People have been faking "Physically Not Ok" since the beginning of time. I will work through physical pain and exhaustion and run circles around most people in the workplace but when i'm thinking about quiting my job just because i need a day off it's time to take a mental health day.
