Shakuhachi (Japanese Flute) with Relaxing Rain Sounds

One time during a visit to Cittaviveka monastery in the UK, a senior monk gave a dhamma talk, and during the talk it started raining. The monk stopped talking and told us to just listen to the rain.....I think that was the first time in my life that I 'heard' rain properly. The sound literally filled the meditation hall, it was so beautiful. This music brought that memory back, thank you CalmDownTizak

I imagine a very old but wise man meditating, sitting quietly in his small, simple hut that sits along a waterway, long after the sun has set, listening to every raindrop and all together the power of the storm though his mind is distant from his ears, and he can see out into the darkness of the night even though his eyes lay closed...

I imagine sitting on a japanese porch overlooking a small formal garden. A gentle stream of water flows down and around small protrusions of rock. Koi are lazily swimming searching for food to nibble on. The rain chains are slowly tinkling with the water flowing through them, to reach the garden below. Beautiful music. thank you.

well when i hear music like that this is what happen to my mind : a great samurai whos have seen too much blood for is lifetime relax under a tree cuze of the heavy rain Katana bend to his shoulder takes out his Shakuhachi and start playing out his sentiment the rain represent his tears and the music (the flute) represent the music for the people who's he as murdered in legit duel like a way to give them respect :P i guess thats just me that thinks like this haha XD

Now the people he knew, friends, even family hunt him down, and he had no choice but to fight them. He even dueled his own brother and end up killing him. :(
