Just want to thank all the great people at CMC. I am also very grateful for Sh. AHM responding to emails. It's rare for someone of that caliber to respond to a no-body, wa jazalallahu khayr. Wa Allah al Musta3an. Sshukran.

He was called Al-Imadi because of the village his family was from (Imad) village, an area near the district of Iskilip. A beautiful location that has a beautiful citadel. The name of Iskilip actually had different names throughout the history of that region and one of the names was Imad, amongst a few others. LOL wow, as I'm writing this about Iskilip, AHM just said his family was from there. Good timing haha.

It is time we get past the false dichotomy of modern or not; also authoritarian or principle driven. The partly Islamic states degraded into going to far with Imam doctrines. Then came those who exaugurated about the Sufi shaykhs and saints. Shaykh ul Islam was the Sunni development, but regardless of the authority, we can be shariah compliant and work towards real unity.

He mentions that Atatürk turned Sahn-ı Seman madrasahs into nightclubs but I am highly suspicious of that. So I'm gonna need a source.
@tysonfury91422 жыл бұрын
He says who the source is in the video, it's his friend. There are supposedly 8 colleges in the Sahn-i Seman; you should check the history of each one to see if this is true or not. I know that Ataturk destroyed and/or used mosques for various uses (stables, depots, etc.) and the sources are fairly easy to find for these. Also some mosques which were used as meyhane (mey-wine, hane-house). But for this specific example I don't know if there are any 'easy to find' sources.

He can't hear you! 'Cover your mouth when you cough.' You came to a lecture on Islam and that's what you took away from it? Pathetic!
