I second that Cam the incremental process is one of the things I love about the channel. It gives people the idea and steps to slowly tune and mod theirs car. It shows yiu can get a little at a time and build up to your build. It's genuine and insightful, keep it up Cam! Glad you made it back safely!

I can’t wait to see your reaction to the sound when you throw an intake on. So many great memories in this car man. I got a 2008 FG2 with 17k miles for $15,800 in 2010. Had it until 2020 with 175k. I’ve been following you for a couple years and was always looking forward to the day you’d get an 8th gen because I knew you’d love it. Tip (and I’m not sure this is up to date) change out the transmission fluid with Redline MTL and do it like every 40 k. You will grind out that transmission if it’s still running the stock fluid. Cheap and easy fix. I had mine tuned on Flashpro by Vitviper back in the day - totally changes the car with 8600 rpm redline and much less rev hang. Can’t wait to see where you go with it. Good luck!

A traveling, road trip tip for you Cameron, or anyone whose eager to get out and travel this vast land. Anyone can go find a Truck Stop and take a Shower to freshen up while on the road or as they travel through cities to reach home. If the Truck Stop is strictly for Truckers Only, then the answer's a no; otherwise, it's free game. Just make sure you have proper supplies (Soap, Rag, Shampoo etc) One doesn't always have to just throw on another t-shirt and slather their stinky pits with their favorite deodorant. Safe Travels!

I think this car is a perfect contender for a craftworks supercharger. If you do JDM mugen RR conversion on it, I would put a craftworks supercharger on it. Look at the videos from the channel speed Academy. These guys did a conversion and supercharger on their white 8th gen SI and the car was screaming. I bet you that this car supercharged would’ve been faster than your type R. Good luck with the build.
