Great job on showing and explaining the process…… just a tip for coating the fish with the “fish-fry mix”: I use a large ziploc bag to put the fish-fry mix in and just add the fish to the bag with the mix and zip the bat closed (making sure there’s plenty air trapped in the bag) and tumble the fish in the fish-fry mix until fully coated ….. works just fine for me😊

If you use the Louisiana breading and cut the salt, just add a little cornmeal and cornstarch to it to reduce the salt. You can also taste the breading before you add any raw meat to check the flavor and salt content. I use that all the time and add my fav seasoning to it

Your videos are such a blessing! Your culinary skills are on another level. Whenever I have a stressful day, your videos hit better than any therapy session I ever had (except therapy sessions w/ Jesus tho). 😂Fr no lies here! I love the Caribbean fussion you add to your seasoning and meals like tostones. 😊Reminds me of my mother’s cooking. God bless you always! 🙏

I have been using my oven since 1900.❤❤ My heart's never been healthier even without the air fryer trend these days. Mayonnaise is also my binder for chicken 🐔 fish🐟 and seafood 🍤😌👍😘😋😋

Definitely gonna try. Thank you. I've always hated the grease it takes to fry anything be it chicken or fish. Hey, I really love that mixer bowl. Never seen a bowl like that. On my way to Google to find one.

Maybe the reason people don't like the mayo thing is that they think the taste doesn't really go with fish. But mayo is only egg whites and oil, mostly, which is why it makes a good binder and I don't think the taste of it is noticeable at all. I have used mayo instead of butter to make grilled cheese, and the bread actually browns up better than with butter, plus, the mayo is easier to spread! Thanks for the great video, I love oven baked fish.

I agree. I also use Hellmans when I make crab cakes and salmon patties. It is really a gd. binder, and gives tht. Special flavor. I also like mustard fried fish. YUMMY!

Looks fab will try but without mayo and mustard. I think oregano and garlic and chilli with the egg will be a great alternative. Thank you

This looks awesome! I've always been in the watery part of the world, and have eaten a lot of fried fish. Often it's fine tasting breading, but you need to rely on you knowledge that fish was in there. Breading just takes over - fish flavored breading (still good!). It's a delicate art to preserve the flavor of the fish when frying. Bravo.
