fun fact: pubert was actually a girl they disguised as a boy. they tend to do that quite often in movies when the baby is a newborn or soon after because its hard to tell in most cases Also Anjelica Huston said filming in that dress was so uncomfortable, that when filming was done, she burned the dress.
@kaleaward2 жыл бұрын
They actually use girls more because they are better behaved than boys. And yes, Angelica burnt the entire costume. But there was so much more that went to Morticia's look than the dress. She had to wear a metal corset, she had to have her eyes taped back that gave her super bad headaches and caused skin abrasion, they also shined a light into her eyes for all her scenes. She was definitely dedicated to being Morticia that's for sure
@drewbear19692 жыл бұрын
Just when you think they can't cast more perfectly for these films, here's Joan Cusack. And that play, yeah go Wednesday BUT -- Pugsley was having the time of his life up there, he may have found his calling! 😄🦃 I think nostalgic rewatches sounds great! It's fun to watch something again and remember what we've liked about it. 9:07 I have a feeling you'd get a kick out of the character she plays in _Hatchet._ It's old school slasher (and gory!), and I really enjoyed everyone's performance in it.

I love, love, love your reactions. Your laughter is so genuine, and so contagious. Your attitude when reacting to the characters and/or the actors' portrayal is so wonderful. Keep it up! You're a pleasure to watch. The actress who played "Amanda Buckman" did go on to appear in the Buffy TV show, but she was also the girl scout cookie seller in the first Addams Family. From what I've heard, there is some debate whether that was simply clever re-casting, or whether they intended for it to actually be the same character. You'd think that, having met Wednesday and Pugley once before, she would remember. As Joel says: "I'll never forget you... You're too weird." If Amanda had previously tried to sell cookies to a weird little girl who asked if they're "made from real girl scouts," then later meets the same girl at camp, you'd think she'd mention, "You're that creepy girl with the lemonade stand!" But she doesn't. So, whether she was supposed to be the same girl or not, it was a fun casting call-back. I wonder how the young actresses Christina Ricci and Mercedes McNab got along, when the cameras weren't rolling.

This was a lot of fun. I love this movie and the first one. The cast is perfect. I probably saw them way too young because I have two older brothers and I always just watched whatever they were watching. But these movies started my love for Christina Ricci. She was my favorite actress as a kid. I think I watched everything she was in during the 90s at least a dozen times each.

I love anticipating your reaction to divas on the screen lol This is one of my favorites. Total childhood memories. I actually find myself rewatching this one more than the first Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁 everyone!

I recently watched this movie for the first time (I was majorly slacking on my spoopy classics growing up) and was amused and appalled to find that out of all the characters in this movie, I am most like Fester lol right down to the breadstick walrus impression at the dinner table and the inability to talk to pretty ladies
