I like the pool noodle idea. To keep the mosquito netting up. Looks like a beautiful stay nice and peaceful. I like all the noise of the bugs at night though that's nice.

Shouldn't have to use the noodle to hold it up but at least it works. Thanks Marc!

@@OutdoorRob We use them to to support the canopy on a pop-up picnic shelter. Works great so rain water doesn't pool up.

@@OutdoorRob Are they built the mosquito netting kind of flimsy?

Not if the side ropes and pegs hold it open but I found when I got in it I pulled the pegs outta the ground and the net collapses inward. So the pool noodle was the cure.

Wow... Please tell us more about that hammock with the screened-in top! Where the hell were those things 50 years ago?? Yeah, and the pool noodle has got to make a huge difference (nod to a prior commenter's comment). Yes, some very interesting lighting. I will check into that link you put in the description. Some nice footage. Memories of splitting wood and making kindling. My Dad taught me how to split wood and make usable kindling. I think it was not long after that he realized just what a monster he had created, as I wanted to spend hours doing it. But hey, I still have ALL of my digits, and toes too. A lumberjack, I definitely am not, but I used to be able to turn a full cord ( or 8 ) into a lot of face cords. I hated it when I was a teenager, but eventually figured out just how great heating with firewood really was.

Thanks Stan! The hammock is just a cheapo I got off Amazon www.amazon.ca/dp/B08R1K8P3H?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details It's not bad but the setup didn't quite work properly for me so I used the pool noodle to hold the screen up and away from me. Otherwise the screen sagged in my face. The side ropes and pegs are supposed to hold the screen out but I'm 230lbs and when I lay in it I pull the pegs out of the ground LOL. Still pretty good I think for 35 bucks. I used to watch my Dad chop the wood out camping, so one time when he wasn't around I grabbed the axe and promptly hit my hand with it LOL! Trip to the hospital for stitches then back to get shit LOL!

That rabbit looked well fed. Always have a backup dinner plan. Is your camper a toy hauler? Good looking unit.
