As a Michigander w/ property on Lake Superior I’m surprised on how others view our so called “wilderness” as unsafe or dangerous? The Apostle Islands are beautiful but also safe. I love you’re enjoying nature, smelling the roses while our weather is good! I’m on the other side of the lake but weathers the same. You’re safer there than in an overnight rest area or a Walmart parking lot!

I think that was a pretty bold move for you to go stay on this island by yourself. I would’ve never done that and I remember seeing one of your videos were you went to the shoe house and had to leave in the middle of the morning because of a prescence you felt so being on an island alone is real bold to me. Now what if you got over there and needed to get away immediately because you start hearing or seeing things or worse the bear you were calling for when you went in the cabin came out at night looking for food and that man just dropped you off and left? I couldn’t do it , but hey to each his own.

We have backpacked and camped on Stockton Island a few years back. I must say you were brave to just sling a food bag over a limb next to your tent 😮. There are a lot of bears that swim from island to island. They have bear lockers along the paths into the woods and it’s warmer off the beach with a nice campfire. You did it your way 👍

Cool cabin, looks like it is well built and preserved well from the elements of nature, i would sayvthat it is in pristine condition, would make an awesome rental if it were to be renovated. Ok im in love with said cabin❤😊. You are one brave person Nomi, i mean if I could I'd camp on that island 🏝 also I love how it is un inhabited. Are there wild animals on that island? Ifcits uninhibited then probably not. But seriously I'd love to spend a week on 🐻 island! It iscso beautiful out there, thank you for taking us along.
