I have been impressed and in awe of your videos. You seem so natural and to be talking directly to me as if we were friends talking over coffee. I have a wanderlust spirit that is on pause for now. Your videos truly get me excited and most importantly prepared for my future endeavors. Thank You.

Yep, funny how we pack things we think we can't live without and then 3 years later we say OH forgot I had that and have never used it! Cleaning out and repacking is something I try to do every year! LOL doesn't always happen.

I’m so impressed that you only had that much to empty from your truck. I remember trading in one of my cars, and when I went to empty it while at the dealer (wasn’t anticipating leaving with a new car that day) I had so much crap that I ended up leaving a lot of it behind. My friend who came with me said “you just ruined the whole week for whoever has to clean out your car”.

Half the stuff I carry in my Tacoma, dragging my trailer around, I rarely use but there is always that once in awhile when you're glad you have them. As for the solar Luci light I have 3 of them and use them all the time in and outside my trailer. It's free light and one less power drain on the camper. Can hang them up anywhere around the camp site for 6 hrs of free light. Oh, and if you think you carry a lot of stuff in the 4Runner just wait to you get a truck and a big truck at that.

Ahh good idea with the lantern, I need to start doing that. Thanks!

I have another version of the Lifehammer (seatbelt cutter/window breaker) that I keep on its base but strapped to my Jeep’s roll cage above the driver’s door (I use the straps from the hand loop). I’d suggest finding some way to anchor yours within reach since an underwater event would also likely involve quite a tumble or rollover, making loose items impossible to find in a hurry. Also, in addition to the great ARB tire repair kit, they make a very handy tire deflator which speeds up the airing down process. I also carry a large capacity lithium jump starter, just in case.

I enjoyed all your items you keep in your vehicles. I'm proud to say I carry most of what you do. I classify the following as "Very important": Chapstick ( I own about 20 tubes because I always seem to have trouble finding them so I keep buying new ones, lol, hand lotion, sunscreen (I have a Miata), breath spray, gum, and tissues! I also keep napkins. The one single thing I never ever leave home without is my small Swiss Army knife!!. And last, but not least, flushable wet wipes, and I won't go into detail the many uses they provide, heh. Thanks for your video, I'm always happy to get a notice from you! Happy traveling!
