Thank you. I was just talking to a gentleman about this place. The one time I went there I couldn't figure the camp areas out. He explained it. This helped too. 😊

That’s a cool park when you head up that way there are several river camps that are accessible from the river. Thanks for the video.

We enjoyed our stay at flying eagle, but like you said, getting back to the boondocking areas is less than ideal. We followed the instructions on the site but that road is so tight. We were getting some Florida pinstripes down the side of our RV and there were a couple really low hanging branches. We're only 10'8. So much larger rigs should be very cautious. Thanks for sharing Joe, really enjoyed seeing the area again. It's been almost 4 years now since we've been there- Kyle and Michelle

It looks like a pretty good place. I would worry about the tree limbs driving in and out. Nice share. Lynn and Danny

It's a beautiful place, but you do have to be careful navigating in and out.

We have an acre and a half on moccasin slough just outside flying eagle preserve and it is so quiet. Just the bugs and alligators, you need alot of bugspray trust me. We always do a drivethru to the preserve everytime we camp up there. If anyone wants to camp on our property b4 the preserve just let me know and we can correspond. Our property is a half mile from the preserve on moccasin slough rd. It is primitive also no electric or water or sewer. 😊

Do you have solar power in your camper?
@xx84gnxx15 күн бұрын
I do not. it is prewired for it. I use a generator for daytime use and then i have 4 house batteries for the Nite usage.

It looked like a lot of low overhanging branches? Will, a tall camper or a truck camper be able to navigate?
@xx84gnxx14 күн бұрын
our 5thwheel is 13ft plus and it was being hit a lot. this is why i always show the drive into these parks so you can decide if its good for you.

@ thank you for the quick reply! Im at 13 but As long as there no big branches to take the air off I’m good to go 👍

@@davidfarley145yes, if you see any spots that looks crazy, have a person do some serious spotting.

@ I’m probably like many other campers who carry a pair of loppers in my rig? And use them often free camping.

You shouldnt advertise free places to stay, people will flock there and thrash it. Then it will be closed or monitored and fee based. You ruin a beautiful place when you invite strangers
@xx84gnxx10 күн бұрын
This is free for a reason, free for all folks not a select group for your choosing. the parks already get trashed, a few more people camping here is not going to change that. if comes down to be a fee charge for the parks, then so be it. unit till now it free for all walks of life to camp here. try to have a better day Frank. 😁
