I have a 2015 F250 king cab, 8 foot bed 2 wheel drive all stock 6.7. I carry approximately 250 pounds of tools in the toolbox in the bed. I baby the truck and have seen as much as 25 miles per gallon on a 45 mile one way commute at 65 miles per hour without the air conditioning on during cool days. I consistently get between 20 to 22 miles per gallon on the highway at 65 mph everyday. I also synthetic oils and keep my tires at manufacturers spec's. Now it kick it up to 75 I get 18 mpg. I'm very happy with the milage the truck gets.

I find the dash computer mpg is more generous than actual fuel economy. Especially if it's reset on the highway at just highway speed. The only true way to judge mpg is fill the tank, drive your trip, fill the tank again, and divide miles driven by gallons used. That said, anything approaching 20 mpg in a big diesel pick up is pretty good!

Those numbers are pretty darn close to what I average to a tank under normal highway driving on my 2018 6.7 F-350 SRW with 3.31 gears and stock tires. About 19-20mpg overall tank averages, It usually does about 21mpg most of the time but every 500kms or so it does a regen cycle that takes about 1-1.5mpg off my total tank average. Also not sure how you find it out on the east coast but during our prairie winters in Manitoba the tank averages definitely drop!

Ill have to check to see but im pretty sure its 3.55. I was a police officer for 32 years and just retired I would'nt say I baby it. I do 5 over just about everywhere when im driving. I mostly put miles on it driving 120 miles to my other home which is half heavy traffic depending on when. Wheres the gear ratio written?

What tune are you running? I have seen the 20mpg's claim for a long time but have never owned a truck that would do it sitting on 35" tires. I had a 6.0 that was built and tuned with 35's and never came close and I babied the crap out of it. I call BS to anyone who claims 20mpg's. Can you make your computer say it for a short period of time? Sure you can. But from one tank to another without resetting the mpg's, there ain't no way!

Let’s talk about your rear end. Lol Is it 3.55? My f250 has 3.55 and I can easily get 20.2 mpg hand calculated if I drive around 62-66 mph cruise and take it easy on takeoffs and let off and coast instead of braking when I know a red light is coming a ways out on a highway.
