There are multiple funny things about the paper about snake injuries. The important thing to note is that the model of vacuum used, a Vorwerk Kobold, has the impeller (the spinny bit that moves air) around 12cm (~5 inches) behind the opening that air rushes into. So, if one were to stick their snake into the opening, it would likely get caught in aforementioned spinny bit. As mentioned, it contains case studies. There are two cases which are related to one another, in the literal sense. The poor guy sustained pretty major injuries and had to be treated in a hospital.
