Good video. However would’ve been good to get to get a more conclusive answer to the title of the video as supposed to just an comparison between the previous model.

Short answer is: this can totally fix your posture if you're willing to use it consistently. The long answer is: Think about this like you would a treadmill. Will this treadmill help me lose weight? Probably but you can't just let it sit in your spare room and never use it. The Upright is a wonderful biofeedback tool that is, in our opinion, the best of its kind for posture. But if you're not willing to put in the work, you won't see results.

I bought the ur2 on Black Friday, tbh it’s been so helpful for posture and back pain I had from constant bending at work. I’d give it. 9/10 I wish the battery life was longer, but with the amt of vibrations and the more intense settings I have on (so I can know when it vibrates) I can see why the battery drains

OMG this idea is actually really cool. I had no idea this existed! I'm posture training right now and have had a lot of success. I use something called a GymBoss strapped to my upper arm. It looks like a pedometer and doesn't require charging. You pick a sound and/or vibration pattern, duration, intensity, and time interval personal reminders. I started with a silent, short, single pulse, medium intensity vibration, every 15 minutes. Wore it all day, every day, for 2 weeks and then increased to 20 mins, then 25 mins. I also change the vibration patterns up sometimes so I don't get desensitized to it (e.g, 3 very short pulses). It started as a conscious reminder but is turning into more of an unconscious one. So it basically trained my brain to automatically correct any posture issues without me actually thinking about it.

Wow thanks detailed comment. So from your experience will come to a point . Your brain will automatically keep good posture and fix itself, or this a device you wear rest of your life ? Also can wear always? Like 24 hours.
@Anne_Onymous2 жыл бұрын
@@sleepyjoescumbag1663 Well I actually haven't worn it for weeks! =) It got to the point where just the mere _sensation_ of feeling my neck pushing forward or back hunching would automatically trigger this reminder in my brain to "fix it now!" Those self-corrections eventually became second nature until I was holding the positions for longer and longer periods unconsciously. I had VERY bad posture originally, so had some pretty painful days due to underdeveloped muscles TBH Had to really keep up with stretching, massaging, etc. But the changes are astonishing! The neutral position my skeleton goes to when I stand relaxed now is completely different than 6 months ago. My ears shifted back inches and sit over my shoulders, my upper back isn't hunched, my lower back has a nice curve, my pelvis tilted a few degrees, and even the weight distribution on my feet changed significantly. I sometimes catch myself starting to slouch some towards the end of the night so started back strengthening exercises 2 weeks ago so I can make it permanent. I definitely would not have been successful without stretching and the GymBoss. You could technically wear it 24/7 but I was too afraid my brain would get too used to feeling it and become desensitized... So I wore it when I knew I wouldn't be too distracted to miss or ignore alters (like at while work or watching TV).

Got mine today, leaned over a few times at my desk to give myself a couple of electric shocks to test it out (JK)… Works great. Everyone who sits in front of a computer for hours a day(like me) really should look into trying this out.

Is there a way to delay buzzing after a set time? For example, if you drop a pen on the floor or pick something up that requires bending, can you set a 10 sec time limit where if you continue to bend for longer, it should start buzzing?
@aljoschanoe41553 жыл бұрын
It does not buzz if you overextend to pick something up, tie your shoes, etc. But it also does have a timer integrated.

Would have preferred a professional view as to whether it actually does what we actually need it to do. What the benefit it. We can all read the manual and follow in-app instructions. No need for you to make a KZbin video repeating it all.
@RehabRevive3 жыл бұрын
Totally works. We love uprights and have made several videos about the products. But you have to know what a good posture looks and feels like to calibrate the device. If you calibrate it in bad posture, it won't correct you properly.
