The new subcompact ridgid drills and impacts have a bunch of power. With clutch locked the drill will spin your wrist(ouch) just like the older bigger drills. And the impacts have the 3 speeds plus the fastener stop setting with plenty of power - enough to break one of my socket hex bits. Your old ridgid is no comparison to the new ones.

thanks for the info! I wasn't trying to do an apples to apples comparison like Project Farm to show which is the best out there right now or make Rigid look bad. I had just got the bauer and using it for the very 1st time and had no idea how it would do. I was surprised it did better than i thought. I was just showing you get a lot of bang for the buck with Bauer. Bauer may not be the best out there but its not junk either. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Does the Bauer have a Lifetime Service Agreement and free batteries for life like Ridgid does. That makes a clear winner at my shop. I’ll never drive 12” screws.

I’ve heard bad things about their LSA especially lately.

@jeffwilder7117 like I said in video all my rigid tools and batteries were bought on 3rd party home depot return auctions. The few I have have been good tools. The batteries keep wearing out after 10 years though i just started using them few years ago. I have several other bauer tools so converting to that. Will continue using the 2 rigid screw guns I have for working on weed eaters, mowers, etc as powered nut drivers to take small nuts off carbs and other parts where my bauer 3/8 or 1/2 inch impact are not needed. I had a rigid 1/2 impact and couple other rigid tools on same batteries stollen by employees. It wasn't my intention to say rigid was crap. In fact few years ago I started making video telling how I liked the rigid tools I have better than Dewalt but got distracted and never finished and uploaded. My intent was to show bauer can hang with the best and can even amaze you with the power for price. Sorry if I didn't articulate that properly in the video. Thanks for your comment and feedback and for watching.

@@TheJayHamishthat’s odd. I just sent in a drill that the chuck locked up. It was 15 years old. They sent me a new drill kit. If the tool wasn’t registered the warranty is only good for 3 years. People who don’t register and then watch the LSA after the 3 years will definitely bad mouth it. I know from experience as I worked part time at HD for 9 years just before retiring.

@@jeffwilder7117 that’s good news. I stand corrected.
