I heard that CBD that has a small amount of THC works best. I know when I used to ski, altitude was a huge problem. I couldn't sleep, rapid heart rate that pounded so loudly it kept me from sleeping. I took a tincture of what I recall to be 3/4 parts CBD, 1/4 part THC (I told the dispensary person that I didn't want to get high, and this is what he recommended). Anyway, I drank the tincture before bed, got super relaxed, not high, just relaxed like I've never been, and slept for a solid 8 hours. So good. Every time I went to Vail, I bought my tincture, and slept like a baby.

I buy the Rescue & Relief products online from Orenda Botanicals in BC, Canada. I'm 60 yoa & dont use any meds for pain. This Lancet article mentioned in the video might not have used a high enough dose or the correct cbd, but frankly I'd recommend a CBD Cream applied on skin as needed for a specific arthritic joint. As the Dr's said in video Acetaminophen/ Tylenol can cause liver issues. I'd be interested in seeing a cbd study that didn't include Acetaminophen as it might be a contraindication with cbd.

With knee issues for 50 years the correct choice of cannabis has allowed me to function normally. The plant has many compounds cannabinoids, flavanoids, terpenes and probably more to find. It’s not just a particular canabinoid it’s the right combination of all these factors that contribute. It took me sometime to find the most effective cultivar, you just can’t give any one of the factors it’s a symphony of factors.

I tried CBD some years ago and it did nothing for my arthritis. I smoked it, used oils and ointments, and used an eye dropper to put it under my tongue, and none of it worked. Also, CBD is not cheap. Then medical marijuana became a thing for me since I could no longer work. I only use it to help me sleep (because of the pain in my back, knees, and hips) and weed does the trick. Unfortunately, it is only a nighttime thing and by the early morning hours, it's back to dealing with the pain. The one thing about weed is that if I use a low THC weed it's much better than a higher THC level of weed. Usually for me around 15-17% anything higher and it messes with my anxiety and panic attacks.

CBD has to be taken with a small amount of THC to be effective. I can't remember the reference but there is some studies that have shown that CBD alone doesn't have the medicinal effect and there is something in the THC that works in conjunction with the THC. I wonder what the legal situation is for drivers? Australia has roadside breath and drug testing. Also many businesses have random testing of staff. Would the oil show up in a drug test?

I was told that there was no CBD available that didn't have ironclad proof of "no THC". Anyone have proof differently?

I have severe arthritis in my knee and was really hoping it would work for me. Yeah, no. It did not really do anything for me. I have found cannabis to be helpful in other ways. Indica strains have helped me tremendously with insomnia when I had that going on. But the CBD unfortunately did nothing for my osteoarthritis in my knee. I am just going to have to get a replacement some day.

I tried a topical salve & felt it was not effective at all. i complete waste of money & I disliked the smell. Back in the day I used to smoke for fun & enjoyed it so I'm not anti weed.
