Can Chinese Salt & Pepper Chicken be cooked in a Ninja Airfryer?!

After doing the Salt & Pepper chips, someone said have you tried Chinese Salt & Pepper Chicken? (apologies I cannot remember who said that!) but I haven't ever tried it and it seemed logical to give it a go... so here it is, cooked in the Ninja Airfryer. I was very happy with the end result...

After the salt and pepper chips turned out lovely I’m going to have to try these. I’ve watched twice and still haven’t caught when you added the 5 spice, I’m assuming it was with the cornflour. I’d love if you could add ingredients and brief method in the description. That’s not a criticism, I love what you do and I could watch you all day. Take care xx

just a thought kerry, try toasted sandwiches in the airfrier, they are nice and crispy , im sure the boys would love them when they come home from school.the chicken looks very nice i will be trying this and looking foreward to it

Aldi sell Chinese salt & pepper seasoning in a packet. It already has the cornflour etc. Will try it using that but will follow the rest of your recipe! Loving both your channels! Keep up the good work!

Salt and pepper chicken/chips/orginally came from Southern China so its claimed but the seasoning we like in the UK came from Liverpool Chinese chip shops. Ive been eating the stuff for years in Liverpool and always struggled to find it in other UK cities, its only just taken off in the last ten years in the UK and has now gone mainstream with some UK supermarkets claiming to sell salt & pepper products but Ive yet to taste anything decent. Maybe you cant mass produce this taste? Anyway great video and I hope like me youre hooked. Ps try a spicer version with your choice of chillies, its worth it.

Like you and the boys, hubby and i don’t tend to go for very spicy food but that looked so good I am definitely going to give it a go although I’ll use a pepper and dried chilli flakes rather than a full on fresh chill (small steps). I’m new to air fryers and I love to watch a recipe being made rather than just look at a recipe. Looking forward to the allotment channel and I’ve already subscribed.
