They certainly can be dress up even to business formal with the correct toe and colors and leathers. As a general physician I've noticed even patients tend to trust more in me when I go business casual with boots. Boots certainly are very versatile.

Hell yea. Here in Texas cowboy boots with suits are a must. I wear my black Dan Post boots with a suit and tie. Sometimes I replace my tie with a Bolo Tie. So ofcourse for business casual and business professional cowboy boots are a must.

Boots can be worn everywhere and at anytime. Just make sure your boots compliment the outfit you are wearing for the occasion. Some people need to experiment more with what they wear their boots with. I think some people just assume you have to be wearing jeans to wear boots. Not So. 😃

I live in Texas, but have a job that requires (pre Covid-19) extensive travel over all of North America. Cowboy boots are my work shoes. I am in sales management, so I am usually in business casual attire. For work I tend to wear ‘nicer’ boots, such as antelope or gator. When wearing jeans or for casual purposes I also wear boots, and I lean towards distressed leather or suede. Boots are my ‘thing’ and often are a conversation starter when in meetings in other parts of the country. Thanks for sharing!

I wear my cowboy boots with suits, no problem... the only advice I would give, is stick to leather soles, so the look dress and sober colours and leathers and as you said round toes, so once the trousers go over the shafts, what you see is not that different from chelsea boots or oxford shoes.

Boulet and Rujo are good options in that range especially if you want to go exotic leathers. If you are gonna be standing at conferences a lot, Chisos have great insoles but are more pricey at $500

Coming from a family owned comercial construction business where I handle the white collar stuff as well as the muddy blue collar work. I'm always in steel toe cowboy/ work boots. I've recently landed an office job selling company insurance and the interview went well but now I have an in person interview. Back when I was in medical sales I wore boots regularly. Mine were calf, lizard or ostrich, medium toe. I also rode my Harley when making sales calls. I even had a few occasion's to attend black tie affairs...yep...I wore my black ostrich leg boots!

Thats the great thing about cowboy boots, they can be dressy or casual. I wear them to the office with dress pants through the week and with jeans on casual Friday. I always get compliments on them, they get you noticed that's for sure. Thanks Jeremiah, nice video!

I wear boots with khakis all the time for work. A nice boot that can be polished looks great with khakis. I prefer a R tow or J tow (but that’s just me) I just bought a pair of black French toe boots from Ranch Road Mavericks specifically to wear with slacks, or more dressy occasions.

2 people in upper admin wore suits and boots. They were always the ones to lead very well. My boss wore kakis and Dan Posts all the time during working hours in my division. I wore mine daily and the little guy I was in charge of used to stomp on my toes, he gave up on the boots because I would just smile and say "cant feel it". He eventually fell in place and gave up attacking me and became my side kick .

Nothing beats the great look of a darker faded blue boot cut jeans , a good cowboy boot preferably round toe for me and either a white dress shirt or a black dress shirt . This is the best way to dress up with cowboy boots IMO
