Can Female Betta Fish Make Bubble Nest?

My Female beta was very small when I had bought her and kept it alone in one bowl since she was fighting with other female beta. I don't have a male beeta yet. 4 weeks back, there is no way she could be pregnant, it was very small. now she looks good and fully grown she has made a good bubble nest covering one corner of the tank. What does this mean?? her behaviour was aggressive and now she was hiding under the bubble nest.

I was given two female betta fish and put them in a 10 gallon since they told me multipule females can go in the same tank, i came home and noticed a bubble nest with eggs and one of the fish tending to it but then they got into a fight and broke it. I AM STRESSED OUT LOL. google says i could of been given a short finned male?? if they are both female what do i do with the eggs? I am thinking of giving one to my friend since they do chase eachother often and I dont want them to be stressed out

i am so confuse… my female betta is creating wide bubbles and has a flat tummy, it’s not round like the other 2fem that I have, but the only thing that I can confirm is she has an egg spot… please i need to confirm it

Sir...my female betta fish was making bubble nest and after one day it layed eggs...! While it is separated in the other container only but female male can see each other....and I was removed female frm the eggs container and left male betta fish...as soon as I left the male betta fish..instead of putting eggs in the bubble nest it started eating eggs and it had eaten half of the many eggs then removed male betta fish also...My doubt is that...are those eggs which are going to hatch?????do they hatch or not....?and after laying that eggs my female is not active it is in pale colour not so active...not taking food staying in the corner of the aquarium pls do save my fish by replying with the awnser🙏 I want to save my female betta fish pls tell me a solution for this plss

My female betta fish is pregnant I bought it from pet shop. The next day i came to know she is pregnant. So can i keep her single in a pot. Can she lay eggs alone ?

She can but the eggs will never hatch as they need to be fertilized by a male.

i have a betta at first i thought it was a male but then i noticed a white bumb under his belly so i though it was a fenale but then she make a cluster of bubble nest like a male betta so idont know what she/he is Hahahha

When I buy betta fish.. The seller said that It was a female.. So I buy another that that he said is a male.. Weeks later I saw the famale betta making huge amount of bubbles .. I was confused if it really a female
