I was in tears after watching this vlog. Thank you for confirming what I know to be true for myself. So many naysayers have tried to convince me otherwise. It's why I love BLE. Your knowledge and sharing of this science speaks to me and what drew me in several years ago. So grateful for you choosing and speaking on this topic. Thank you.

This makes so much sense. There was very little obesity in the sixties and seventies when I grew up. As processed foods became popular, obesity rates went up correspondingly right before my eyes. Thank you for the valuable information. I’m looking forward to your new book!

Looking forward to your next book, Susan. I recognize myself in your processed food + compulsive eating behavior double whammy explanation. This is who I am and it’s ok because your solution works beautifully for me and has allowed me to lose 95 lbs and keep it off for 3 years now. My diet consists of only nutritious food. Thank you.

Joan Ifland is wonderful to listen to on the subject of food addiction!! (She wrote 'Processed Food addiction' lots on you tube...) Thank you for this vlog, always so helpful...interesting to hear more about the approach to eating disorders dating back to the seventies...still very much prevails today...I am always being pressured into eating 'in moderation' and it is hard to ride against the tide of this 'common sense' approach as it is so widely accepted as the solution, despite the fact that it does not work for me on any level...

Awesome! Loved this!! And I truly appreciated how you broke it down and identified the wrong different categories and showed how food is in both. Brilliant!! Thank you so much SPT!!

This all makes so much sense!!! I’ve been reading some of Dr. Lustig’s work as well and between you and him, I don’t care to eat the factory processed poison ever again! You are saving lives Dr. Susan!

Calling honey "unprocessed" really ignores all the hard work bees do making it. :,D Literally hundreds of individuals working on processing the produce of flowers into a substance into a more concentrated for to store for winter. Evolution can figure this stuff out more than once, and humans have carefully chosen bees that do this more efficiently.

If it's addictive then it's not food.
