Today I challenged myself to beat Pokémon Emerald in a Hardcore Nuzlocke Challenge. As a kid, the Pokémon Adventures manga was my favorite book to borrow from the library. I decided to challenge myself by completing Pokémon Emerald using Emerald's team from his adventures, but in a Hardcore Nuzlocke Challenge.

The only frontier brains I really remembered were Noland and Brandon. The Anime battles were awesome! Not only did Ash get to battle legendaries, but we also got the Kanto Four back together because of it.

That's a really good answer! I was thinking that they all got baby Pokemon in Gen 4, so the manga may have been setting up a future plot for that. But I really like yours too!

To be fair, I think there is a thing that implied that Dia's Munchlax is the child of Red's Snorlax and Emerald's Snorlax. So the baby Pokémon thing still holds weight. @@magnuspkmn

@@magnuspkmn Yeah I can tell you are having fun with this, but it is a real pain to do a nuzlocke with Battle Frontier, especially because you have to do it over and over again and because of this, A death could be coming any second. I had to turn off the Nuzlocke rule when I'm trying to get the gold because I just died too much Hope you luck and can't wait for your next video

Ummm, since Emerald has access to Kris' entire roster (who captured all regular Pokemon in all three regions) couldn't you have done a normal hardcore nuzlocke and then build Emeralds true team in the Battle Frontier? He didn't even use it outside the palace and tower.

So why didn’t you just teach Spenser Rock tomb? It has better accuracy than rock throw Plus you have a higher chance of lowering speed or better yet swop out Noland and Spenser between May starter?

Rock Throw is 90% and Rock Tomb is 80%. Both are 50BP so you are trading accuracy for the speed drop. Rock Tomb is only 95% after X&Y
