Dude should’ve done this: Don’t quit the job. Buy a backstage pass to get back legitimately. Type up a résumé, go up to Logan, say something along the lines of “hey Logan, I’m hoping to get into this field, I don’t know if you have any jobs available, but if you do here’s my résumé. If not, you can keep the résumé, if you have an opening at any time I’d totally be up for it. @bigboy 1785 honestly since he seems much more serious about boxing than Jake, I think it's that. There's a reason the stereotype of the "young kid with a troubled past/bad neighborhood gets put into boxing and gets his life straight, wins golden gloves and goes pro" exists. Boxing is relatively unique in offering people who are on a bad path or "fuck ups" the structure and humility they need to grow. Where the sadness comes in is Jake treats it like a sideshow and has the better record.

Here’s the thing to remember. The real billionaires who quite their job or quit college or whatever, they had already made it. Maybe they weren’t guaranteed to be a billionaire at the time, but they had an idea that was working. Mark zuckerburg for instance dropped out of school, but it was AFTER his app started getting success. The correct way to go about this would’ve been, don’t quit your job but start trying. If Logan had went “ya you think you could be a cameraman? I need another cameraman actually” then he could’ve quit AFTER getting that offer. If he hadn’t quit than he could’ve gone back home, and kept trying while still working at his 6 figure job.

Even in unsuccessful situations this is just a smart way to work. I’m currently working to get a paid internship in 3D modeling, I’m doing this while working at Lowe’s, and I might even get another job in between trying to get an internship and working at Lowe’s because I hate working at Lowe’s. But I’m not going to quit Lowe’s until I’m 100% sure that I can get some sort of income that is equal or better then what I get at Lowe’s. Because I need money to live, I’m a college student, and just spent 200 dollars on art supplies for my drawing 2 class that just started. Don’t quit your job until you are 100% sure you have another source of income.

I personally rather work a job I don't like with good money than risk it all for a job I like and might not get. Also, I live in LA. Houses here are expensive. My dad has wanted to get a bigger house for years because three rooms feels too small to fit seven people, but house prices are just so high and they keep on getting higher. Also, from what I've heard from people in entertainment that I met when I was still in high school, it's better to try to start off somewhere other than LA to build a reputation first since there's too much competition in the entertainment industry here.

What youtube can do is work on detecting bot-like request patterns. For example, if a user sends 6 messages in 30 seconds (5 seconds per message), hide the comment and flag for review. However, if the coder has the patience and effort to make their bots work more human-like it would be impossible to detect.

I'm pretty sure he greatly exaggerated the amount of money he was making. Especially because when Logan asked him if he had what it takes, he didn't know what to say other than "I don't". If you were able to make 100k a year, you must have some kind of skill to be able to do that. And yet, the only thing he has to offer is "Dances".

Todd Howard (straight out of high school, no resume, virtually nothing to his name) went up to Bethesda and said basically the same type of thing. The Bethesda employees turned him down, and told him to come back with an actual resume. What did he do? He went out, got a college degree, and actually put some work in. Now he’s the face of Bethesda... Anybody can do great things, and maybe even make millions, who knows? But, you will get nothing if you don’t actually put in the time and energy to achieve those goals. The fact that someone can be so naive to expect shit like this - for nothing in return - is truly baffling.

I think Logan handled the situation maturely. He asked what he can provide to him if he does hire him, and the dude literally said he can provide him with literally nothing??? That's not how you go into a job interview my dude. Logan gave him some solid advice on how to make it in the industry

I would’ve given him props either way. Perfectly within his right to completely ignore this weirdo.

@@turtle_goddess9522 100%, I don’t disagree. Just cool to see a big influencer give his advice to someone trying to make it.

man the way logan tried to level with this lunatic is an immense example of patience. Maybe he's gained some perspective

Logan has honestly improved since the dead rat and suicide forest days. he's becoming more mature, and it's showing.
