@bigboy 1785 honestly since he seems much more serious about boxing than Jake, I think it's that. There's a reason the stereotype of the "young kid with a troubled past/bad neighborhood gets put into boxing and gets his life straight, wins golden gloves and goes pro" exists. Boxing is relatively unique in offering people who are on a bad path or "fuck ups" the structure and humility they need to grow. Where the sadness comes in is Jake treats it like a sideshow and has the better record.

Here’s the thing to remember. The real billionaires who quite their job or quit college or whatever, they had already made it. Maybe they weren’t guaranteed to be a billionaire at the time, but they had an idea that was working. Mark zuckerburg for instance dropped out of school, but it was AFTER his app started getting success. The correct way to go about this would’ve been, don’t quit your job but start trying. If Logan had went “ya you think you could be a cameraman? I need another cameraman actually” then he could’ve quit AFTER getting that offer. I personally rather work a job I don't like with good money than risk it all for a job I like and might not get. Also, I live in LA. Houses here are expensive. My dad has wanted to get a bigger house for years because three rooms feels too small to fit seven people, but house prices are just so high and they keep on getting higher. Also, from what I've heard from people in entertainment that I met when I was still in high school, it's better to try to start off somewhere other than LA to build a reputation first since there's too much competition in the entertainment industry here.

What youtube can do is work on detecting bot-like request patterns. For example, if a user sends 6 messages in 30 seconds (5 seconds per message), hide the comment and flag for review. Todd Howard (straight out of high school, no resume, virtually nothing to his name) went up to Bethesda and said basically the same type of thing. The Bethesda employees turned him down, and told him to come back with an actual resume. What did he do? He went out, got a college degree, and actually put some work in. Now he’s the face of Bethesda... Anybody can do great things, and maybe even make millions, who knows? But, you will get nothing if you don’t actually put in the time and energy to achieve those goals. The fact that someone can be so naive to expect shit like this - for nothing in return - is truly baffling.

I disagree with the "everyone has friends" bit. These goobers sit around all day watching anime and twitch streams and have no concept of actual social involvement. And now this dude actually thinks he's popular because of his Logan Paul fail video. But I did laugh at the "I was a stunt double for Andre the Giant in Princess story". I think you meant The Princess Bride - which, had you gotten it right, wouldn't have been as funny.
@jaysanimations71893 жыл бұрын
Gosh damn too many idiots (Though I feel slightly called out about anime and twitch streams) But like, do these people not realize anything? It seems like the collective society we live in lacks any and ALL critical thinking skills! Like, why would you try this? It's so awkward and embarrassing to do. Like, I haven't socialized with anyone in a while either but even I know shit like this is what makes you look like a goofy lil goober. Ugh it just irks me people can be so dumb sometimes. Can't say I'm too different though lol.
