Thank you for the support! It's definitely a journey, isn't it? Finding your niche and reaching the right audience can be a challenge. I can tell you that I've rebranded several times since starting this whole creator thing. Sometimes you just have to start and see where things go and then pivot, which is okay! Thanks for the awesome video. I'm just starting my channel and I'm in the exact same boat as you! I was actually thinking of starting to do a weekly analytics video as well, and my goal is to get my channel monetized in 2 months or less! It's inspiring to see other people doing the same thing. Super excited for you!! Two months is a high bar to set, but I definitely know it's possible. To be honest my goal is to make it happen by the end of 2024 - I have an 18 week target so that I don't get burnt out. I appreciate your encouragement on my editing and camera presence, I'm really, really trying 🤪 Let's both keep pushing forward towards our goals! Your video quality (editing and all) is pretty good! I think your main focus will be consistency and topic for growth if that’s what you’re looking for which obviously for monetization lol. This series will do well for your channel but it will bring viewers and subbies who want yt journey/growth related videos, rather than the children’s related content.

Hello Mam, I Visited your KZbin channel and noticed it ranks lower than others. SEO seems to be lacking, though your content is fantastic. Wondering why your videos aren't attracting more views? One key factor is insufficient SEO (your videos' SEO score is 40/100%, that's why your video is not reaching out to the people and you do not have many subscribers, views, likes, watch time, and comments. I also noticed that your video thumbnail was good. If you'd like, I can assist you with improving it. I think your KZbin channel will make your dream come true. I am waiting for your response.

I didn't delete any comments but I wouldn't call that bad practice. Depending on what was said sometimes deleting and moving on is the best thing to do. Perhaps KZbin removed your comment because it went against their policies

I just told how hard youtube is these days for small creators and shared my own personal experience as a small creator. Apparently, youtube doesn't want that to be said?? Or something?

I have been a creator on other platforms and I can definitely understand and empathize with what you're saying. Not that it didn't take hard work before, but things just seem much harder nowadays on any of the major, established platforms. I don't plan to give up, though. & you shouldn't either! @capsuleofsunshine thanks!! I subbed. However, we already gave up. It's pointless with youtube today, for two years we've spent 50-60 hours a week on the channel, only to get around 20-30 hours watch time . The audience really loves our content, yet the algorithm "hates" it. The algorithm no longer works in the interest of the viewers, it has its own agenda. That's the only explanation I can think of for flopped videos with amazing AVD, good enough clickrate, likes, comments and certainly a LOT of subs: We have 2.6K subs, while by far most of our vids got stuck at just 200-400 views.

Shorts views do count toward the desktop 😢 but nether the less, keep up the great work 🥰 Last week to this week stats for myself ❤ 738 > 786 subscribers 163k > 207k short viwes 67 > 77 public watch hours 🤍 I kinda lost hope over the past week because comparing the day to day statistics you don't see a huge change, however being able to reference back on your previous video has been insightful for myself. thank you for keeping me accountable ❤ Editing tip though for your future self (if you want, no pressure lol) try and keep your videos over 8 minutes even before being monetized. That way once you are monetized you can earn money from all your previous hard work ❤

Hey Chloe! Thank you so much for that insight! I had no idea about the 8 minute threshold, I'm assuming that's a requirement for any video that you'd like to monetize? I'm so glad that you were able to keep track of your own stats to see the progress you've made. It can definitely feel discouraging when you only see a tiny increase from one day to the next, but when you look at the big picture you start to see how far you've truly come. You're doing great!! Almost there with the subscribers 🙌🏼 I can't wait to see where you're at next week!
