If the Model Y doesn't reach number one in sales in the US this year, it will be because of Elon's radical politics. I've been investing in TSLA since 2018, and I've owned a Model Y since 2022. They're great cars and only getting better. Nothing can touch them on the value per dollar, but things have changed in the market. I used to get lots of questions from people that you might expect: Range, charging on road trips, etc., but now I get comments that usually come down to "I'll never buy a Tesla because of Elon Musk" if they don't use those exact words. He's hurting the transition to EVs and sustainable energy, and if Trump wins, the hate for Tesla on the left will go through the stratosphere while the right is still fighting EV adoption.

Yes, I am a trucker. Most of us have microwaves and refrigerators. Very helpful for eating. Bathrooms must be had at truck or rest stops. The addition of some kind of sink would be a great next step to brush teeth after eating.

@@kdb4u I’m not sure if more cameras are needed for 360 birds view , but my leaf had cameras on the underside of the door mirrors . 2018 Tekna 40kwh , better door handles , keyless entry without the need of a charged phone , 360 birds view are all great on the leaf .arguably better build quality too .

I can confirm that the Crossville TN Supercharger is pretty bad. You can go to the bathroom in the little Cafe next to the wine store if it's open. I learned after stopping there that there are superchargers at the Buc-ee's across the highway. I suspect this Supercharger is very old and was certainly there before Buc-ee's.

Yes they need to separate the two to the extent that it can be. His companies have done some amazing things but they are not exempt from oversight. Henry Ford was the Elon of his time. Just as Henry Ford views on issues of his day now clearly place him on the wrong side of history. Elon now seems to be falling into the same type of views as Henry Ford that have nothing to do with his businesses.

As someone who has a tesla repair shop and I been repairing drive units and battery’s. It’s way more common than u think for a voltage imbalance in these tesla batteries. Not sure why all the KZbinrs always taking about degradation when it’s not really the concern. I have cars as little as 2 to 4 years old that won’t operate anymore and tesla charging 14k or more out of warranty.

The whole 7 miles a day thing is kind of crazy. It's one thing to be able to dig a tunnel at that rate, but removing the spoil and bringing in concrete tunnel liners would be an absolutely enormous undertaking at that rate. You'd need dozens if not hundreds of trucks to support that, and that would bog down the local roadways.

I think you are right if that was the plan to go at max speed. My guess is that with that kind of max speed they would no longer be the slow down in the chain of events. Maintenance of the rig would not be a serious detriment to keeping a schedule. I would guess that newer delivery schedules would be worked out with temporary road blocks for delivery. It will be interesting to see what will be done and how it is done. Lots of different engineering maybe …

Slow charging has a variety of secondary benefits. Like keeping the battery warm on a cold day, running the electronics from grid power while charging, reducing instant load on the grid, lower charge rate reduces thermal stress. Estimating when the vehicle is needed, the charge rate can be adjusted in the Tesla app to be complete in a timely manner.

The Semi sleeper cab should have more room inside, compared to traditional rigs. 1. There is only one driver’s seat. 2. The dashboard and seat are located further forward towards the front of the truck. I’m sure they will design the sleeper area in a practical manner and not waste the space. I’d imagine they would incorporate an extra fold up chair-like the existing one.

As a long time Patreon supporter of this channel, I’m continually grieved with the growing political divisiveness being delivered by our hosts. While claiming to be politically independent, they are clearly championing the strong support of the villain Trump for president by Musk. Project 2025 is a key means with which he is intending to do so, despite whatever distancing Trump and Vance are making to deny it. These guys are all liars and you know it. Their agenda is clear. Trump want to be a dictator and trash our constitution. Mike Johnson agrees to trash the constitution to transform it into a theocracy. Just remember when the church ruled Europe, it was called “the Dark Ages” and for good reason! True science was rejected to favor antiquated and clearly false religious ideas of our world. Johnson is a “young-earth creationist” who will push to replace scientific and accurate biological evolutionary teaching with patently false religious ones. FYI, the charging stations in oceanside has been there for about 7 months, but they don't work. If you notice in the video, no one is there charging their car. I live in Oceanside and keep going there once a month, but no luck. Doesn't even show up on the app

The battery wouldn’t care about whether it’s charged at level 1 or level 2. BUT charging at level 2 stresses the onboard charger a lot more than level 1.

This is because at supercharge info we count to open stalls and all (or nearly all) the V2s in Germany are being upgraded to V4s and they are closed while this happens. There are about 25 stations that are currently like this. I expect those to all come online by the end of the year.

The Crossville Tennessee supercharger is an older install. Anybody getting off on this exit should probably start with the Buckys location which has 16 stalls versus the original location which only has eight stalls. This is another instance where I wish the on board navigation would prioritize better chargers, and leave these smaller less perfect chargers as a back up.
