Omg I’m so glad you posted this video. I was very confused when this ad popped up on my feed today because he was saying the opposite of what you said in your videos. Thanks for crystal clear explanation. I’m glad that I didn’t jump to conclusions too quickly. Thank you always for your expertise! I’m loving them so much. ❤

Thank you so much for posting this! I have been so confused over the pacifier debate and nowhere does it seem anyone mentions age in choosing a pacifier for your baby! It’s just back and forth “the other kind is going to mess up your child!”

I have 4 children. I bought a few different pacifier shapes for them to try and see what they liked. The one child that sucked on the pacifier shape recomended by this doctor is the one that has her teeth on top of one another. The one who loved the bigger, rounder pacifier had the best teeth of them all so far. N3 has his teeth shaped like his grandfather and n4 had his teeth shaped like mine regardless of the pacis they used (different) so there is a lot more to it than the shape of the pacifier especially if it's taken from the child early.

I used one until I was like 6 and I have perfectly straight teeth and a good bite. There’s always finger pointing when it comes to parenting choices when in reality, most things are just genetic 🤷♀️

I’m glad you shared this because it helped me see how manipulative and gross that language is. “Your baby will be ugly,” = The person saying this is the problem and shouldn’t be listened to.

Yeah, if they have those teeth, they’re a toddler. Toddlers shouldn’t have pacifiers imo 😅

Who says that about babies?

I asked my BIL who is a dentist his opinion about pacifiers and when to stop using them literally 4 days ago. His answer: anytime before they start losing their baby teeth (about age 5-6). If a child uses a pacifier or sucks their fingers as the adult teeth are erupting, then they’re more likely to need braces.
