@@HotCheetoGirl_ I think you misunderstood; Ham and Sohla are both professionals in the same field, which makes them communicate well in that specific environment. It's not about standards, it's about how similar their skills and thought processes are, and how well they harmonize when cooking. That's not a "thing a partner SHOULD do", you know. It's pretty cool and fairly rare, since most people don't have a partner with matching work experience.

This one, Ancient Recipes, and Off-Script are my favorite Sohla projects, and they all have their unique charm. For this show, its definitely having Ham featured in a very real way! 2:17 Excuse me for going off topic here, but I am FURIOUS. The Claussen pickles you can see in this frame are in a recycled glass jar, which has been in short supply ever since the start of the pandemic. I live right next to a relatively large city, and they don’t sell them in ANY store I’ve been to or looked at the website of in the last year. The only brands of pickles that are in stock are absolutely VILE. I have been so desperate to have an edible pickle again that I tried pickles from a POUCH. What’s worse is that I had the whole thing. You can imagine my rage when I discovered that there are parts of the country where you can just walk in and BUY at LEAST 5 jars (I’d estimate 15-20).

I love knafeh! I lived in Syria and Jordan for several years, and my favorite was the knafeh that was a bit coarser and also lighter on the cheese.
