My suggestion: Get rid of the timer. All I care is about Sohla making cool food and don't particularly care how long it takes. Unrelated, does Ham get paid for his appearances?

100% get rid of the timer. I could watch 8 hours of this
@qwertyuiopgarth3 жыл бұрын
@@emilymcglynn I'm fine with them keeping the timer, it is amusing if she 'beats it' (which I could never do), and she has a lovely "don't really care" attitude for when she doesn't 'beat it'. The timer is sort of like the color choices made in the kitchen, they exist and Sohla does just fine with them. The key part, of course, is "Sohla does just fine". More Sohla please.

The reason is because you get a layering of flavors when cooking other things.
@lrizzard3 жыл бұрын
@@squirrely102 my mom says to not do it because its unhealthy for some reason I cant remember
@nightingale47863 жыл бұрын
@@lrizzard it is unhealthy but only if the oil is burned or if it's unstrained and there's too many burned bits at the bottom of your frying vessel. if neither of those things happen, so long as you don't burn (general rule of thumb is that if your oil starts smoking it's probably not good to reuse) and strain scraggly bits after each time you fry, you can reuse the fry oil 2-4 times!
@majoroldladyakamom69483 жыл бұрын
Once the oil is cooled, use a very fine-mesh strainer or cheese cloth and put it in A SEPARATE container in the FRIDGE. Why? The oil is now flavored - like potatoes, organic material introduced, and could be used for making potato or other savory breads/dishes. Not banana or sweet breads, etc. The used oil also has contaminants (bits of potatoes, an organic material) and would be unsafe for pouring back in to/with the original container or leaving in the cupboard. Must be refrigerated. Could go rancid if put in the cupboard. From this Major Old Lady, aka Mom somewhere near Seattle... hope this helps! ⚘🙏❤🙏⚘

im sure she makes a suitable amount of money from these videos, seeing how so many channels are in a race to feature her, (and how she spoke up the last time that didnt happen), also it might be better (and even more profitable) for her to be working under a youtube company based on how youtube money making laws work.
