Ok it's been a long time since I trained..I'm 46 now and I was at peak fitness at about 24. I've been looking around for advice that would suit me..I plan to start as a beginner again..I want to protect my body as I go not dive in and hurt myself. Very pleased I found this channel excellent advice I can follow with not much gym equipment to hand and delivered by a normal guy who doesn't have a 'gym' ego or a product range to sell ! Thank you math

If even these are too difficult, try standing pushups against a wall. If you keep good form and feel enough resistance with plenty of reps, you'll gradually get stronger and manage more incline.

@@Sukunatenz Idk brother, it's different for everyone. I joined gym 2 years ago and did chest excercise which allowed me to strengthen my chest. Naturally it became easier for me to do them. I recommend you do negative push-ups instead of knee push-ups.

Hey folks, just commenting to say this method works. I'm a 28 year old female, never been able to do a push up in my life. Over the course of a month I've been using this method, and using the chest press at the gym to be able to do it...I'm glad to say I can do 15 in a row, and I have been doing reps equaling 100 (starting out with knee pushups and moving on to combined then regular) pretty much every day to get here. I'm so happy!
@sumitkothiyal70502 жыл бұрын
Thankyou sooo much!! After practicing for months I can finally do 3 proper pushups. My next target is doing 10 pushups at on go!
@kiketeenez2706 жыл бұрын
Very helpfull. A lot of people want to start like te regular push ups, but it's hard at the beggining and many consider that the firsts steps you show here are cheating or not real push ups. I'm 58 and never did this excercise before. But I have been doing exacty as you say here and I hav seen my body is changing shape for better.

Thanks so much for this video. I've been doing the knee push ups in a negative motion, I'm comforted to know that these will help me build more strength.

I'm definitely trying this. Lying on bed all day during 3 years really made my whole body a piece of jelly. I thought I could at least do one push up but I couldn't even manage half. I'll come back in a few weeks to show my results, this seems quite helpful. Thank you.
