We've been together for 20 years and I can't stand my husband. Everything he does annoys me and I've stopped interacting with him. I'm so sick of being told what a negative terrible person I am. I know I'm a good person, a good wife, a good mother. He can spin it anyway he wants but I know for a fact I'm not evil like he says I am.

My husband has a big ego. He always thinks he is right and tries to shut me down. I've had enough. Why should I live a crap life because he doesn't want to do anything? I've lived this way for almost 20 years, blaming myself for his reaction, at this point I don;t give a flying f anymore.

I can’t stand my husband because he’s just too comfortable with himself…he doesn’t want to explore or look for ways to improve himself career wise, educational wise, he gives me false promises, all he does is kiss me and cuddle and f**k!! Like there’s so much more out of life! I feel like a broken record cause I tell him all the time like he’s the most annoying person to be around. He’s selfish and inconsiderate I don’t respect him as a man I just want to be away from him

My wife of 20 yrs is the most ungrateful human being on the face of the Earth. I pay the mortgage, all the bills and clean the house by myself and she does absolutely nothing because she works outside the house while I work from home. My salary is almost 4 times more than hers but she walks around like she owns the universe even thoguh she let herself go physically. Im so sick and tired.....and I'm afraid of how the kids will feel if I leave, and Im afraid I'm too old to find someone better if I do leave. By the way...I asked her to go to counseling with me to work on these issues but she said she doesn't need to go because she can "counsel herself"(shes a professional psychologist) smh

Don't bother. Counseling won't change anything. I can't take it anymore after 25 years and calling it quit. Nothing is good enough. I can't have my coffee without listening to complaints and every decision I take is questioned. It's enough. I told her I am out.

What even is normal, right? My first few years of marriage were some of the most difficult as we hashed out the different roles we expected each other to play and we'll be celebrating 30 years this summer. I'm guessing you know in your heart if this is something fixable or a bigger deal.

To feel desired..women also need to take care of themselves and not expect their partners to still desire them if they look like an ogre..but if a woman is trying her best and he still seems uninterested, it tears us apart. We become mean, cranky, masculine, angry..etc. The women that are the happiest are women who feel good enough for their husbands, their husbands love on them, make them feel beautiful everyday. Sometimes women are just mentally ill and anything you do won’t work…but most women just want to be desired.
