Thanks for the video. Yes, it is scary. Was diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus w/o dysplasia upon 12-26-2024, thru an endoscopy examination. But, I never had really had any symptoms, and I didn't even know that I had an hiatia hernia around stomach. So, know that we appreciate you communicating about these topics. I've got a GI meeting in a few weeks; I guess as they await pathology's report. Just samples, no nodules or whatever. Thus, I am willing to change things to reduce cancer possibility.

I have sore throat and lump since two and half months and never goes away so, I searched all over on internet and youtube abt it and I assumed this is coz of acid reflux after that i tried and decided to changed my lifestyle and eating so, it seems my sore throat vanishing slowly coz i have been gargling with salt water 4 or 5 times a day. I think yes we can go back to normal...❤

Thank you! This is the first I've heard that it can be addressed without surgery. I've been diagnosed with Barrett's over 20 years ago supposedly due to a weak valve at top of stomach. Correcting the valve with surgery was 50% success so I declined and have been on PPI's (and lots of Tums) since then. Lifestyle changes I have made are eating 4-6 hours before bed so stomach can empty out and bed is sloped so I am not flat. I will watch other videos in play list and then probably follow up privately.

To add a tringle pillow at night will help a lot more than sleeping on the left side

Hi 👋 I’m new to watching your channel I’ve found it very interesting and informative so I thank you! I’m wondering if you’ve ever heard of ulcers on vocal cords? I’ve suffered from Gerd for approximately 3 yrs now I’ve been on Pantoprazole 40mg daily! At times when I was struggling terribly my Dr had me double my meds, it didn’t help! 3 weeks ago I had the Endoscopy done they took biopsies and my family Dr said it showed ulcers on vocal cords! I said ok now how do I fix this!? 🤷♀️ He actually said he didn’t know how, he continued to say scope Dr said I need that see an ear, nose and throat Dr! Ok I’m still waiting on an appointment I’ve been watching your videos hoping I can figure x myself! 🤷♀️🤷♀️ I don’t know where to start any suggestions would be appreciated, honestly! Thank you 🇨🇦✌️💜

I was diagnosed with BE when I was 30. Never worried too much about it or took meds for it I'm now 60 and it never really seemed to cause me any problems I assume I still have it, and I guess it may have something to do with my frequent throat clearing

I am a little confused by the testimony you read. What I understood from the letter was that the person no longer experienced reflux after a month, which is great. But that does not mean the precancerous cells are gone and he or she no longer has BE, right? Wouldn’t an endoscopy be needed to discover if BE is gone?

I was diagnosed this last year. I'm only 32. They told me there's nothing I can do to fix it and put me on a PPI for the rest of my life. I was left completely hanging

Me to. My GI wasn't very helpful or showed any empathy. Told to take my PPI and lice my life 🙄 I understand how you feel, left completely in the dark and trying to find my own healing answers. Good luck 👍

The PPIs made me more ill 🥹 I took them for a year, I stopped and it felt like it was getting better but at times it’s still not great. Every morning I feel sick but it’s just in my stomach not my throat or heartburn. I’m also 32😢
