I'm glad you bought that sunhat, I've spent my entire work life working outdoors. Because I was younger and didn't pay attention, I never wore sunscreen! Or a sun hat that covered the back of my neck. I ended up in my fifties with skin cancer in three places on the back of my neck! Working outdoors, I can't recommend enough to wear sunscreen , and a hat to protect your neck. I used a cool zone neck gator, it was cool and protective. Now I wear sunscreen all the time if I'm outside, working or playing (fishing) a long with a hat to shade and protect my neck. Excellent choice on the hat!!! Great job Fill!!! Interesting question of who is responsible for maintaining the lawn, given it’s adjacent to homes. Normally, the adjacent properties are responsible for outside their fence whether it’s in back, the front or on the side. Maybe this is the homeowner association’s responsibility but no funds to do it. I think the city would have done minimal maintenance, if it’s their responsibility.

Have you thought about attaching a small umbrella to the camera stand? Just not being in direct sunlight should help keep the phone cool enough.

Why don’t you get a real video camera? So many digital nomads now that they’re quite affordable. Also there are umbrellas for your tripod. I don’t know how effective they are against the heat but you can check it out……
