I managed my pcod and obesity with a clean diet and exercise. I got a wonderful and super knowledgeable fitness expert who helped me to do so. I am in love with physical movements. Dr pal is providing very relevant advice. I have benefited immensely with what he is saying. You are great doctor.

Hi sir, I'm from chennai. for the past four months I have been watching all of your videos. I have taken so many points that you have said into my life. My weight was 104 in Mar. Now its 96. My weight is only going down. and I'm feeling more energetic. Thanks for making change into my life. Understanding all your concepts and understanding my body and make my own plan worked out for me. Now I started say NO to many bad foods and stopped eating at night. even when Im working at night I don't eat. After waking up I eat and reduced overall cal in my diet. I have started taking more veddies and fruits. Now reduced my rice intake 60% to 80%. Oil foods NO NO... Packed food, sweets, Added sugar, pre-cooked, added preservative, fast food and oily, unhealthy evening snacks. All I did without exercising. Now Im going to start NEET also....

Thanks a lot for such an informative video and explaining the concept of EAT & NEAT. I started walking 10,000 to 13,000 steps throughout 24 hrs excepting the sleeping time. Today I start 16:8 . Perhaps no thanks is enough to convey my depth of gratitude 🙏

i have been overweight for many years but this year in june i thought to put an end to it and joined the gym and also started to maintain a healthy and balanced diet. I used to eat in a time restricted manner where i didnt eat for 12 hours and i used to workout for 1 hour daily 6 days a week and i have been vey consistent. It is not that i never enjoyed outside food during this journey, I did but in moderation, because i believe you cant achieve anything if you keep yourself unhappy. I have lost 15 kgs in 5 months and i still have to lose 4 more kgs. If i can do it then anyone can do it, just start and be consistent.

Do Household chores Always choose staircases like at home,metro station,malls,temples…etc My Eating window is 10.00am to 5.00pm that is for 7hrs usually Sometimes eating window even reduced to 4hrs Eat twice a day(morning & evening),sometimes OMD( One Meal a Day).Benifits are -Can enjoy the food more -Feels so light -Increases our BMR(Basic Metabolic Rate)

I am preggo now. Before pregnancy my NEAT activity was Gardening, using stairs(we have 3floored house and the water supply, dining table everything in the ground floor and my kitchen is in 2nd floor), walking in between my desk job, brisk walking whenever possible.

Key is somehow stay determined and just push yourself through the first 2-3 weeks. Post that, it will start becoming a habit. It’s okay to have lapses in the middle. Don’t aim for perfection.

My NEAT lists are 1 hr cooking 1 hr cleaning the house In between my work i play with my baby. At least use stair 20-50 times as i live in two storey house And we (my husband,baby and me)all dance together in the evening 😂.

Doc I am walking daily in my Maadi for half an hour.. it's showing results my weight reduced to 65 from 68and half...i m 54 year old female and i m at home taking treatment for fracture in my spine L1-L2.. doctor advised walking and in 22 days i could see the results ❤

Top 2 misconceptions most of people have : 1) Diet means staying hungry or skipping meals... 2) Exercise means Torturing your body... Well according to me diet simply means 1) Eat healthy (i.e. replacing street junk and oily foods with green vegetables and fruits) 2) Eat only when you are hungry 3) Take at least 5-10 mins walk after eating Now coming to Exercise, Most people think unless you torture your body you won't be fit. This is myth. If you get bored of doing workout then at least walk 45 mins per day... Walking is very underrated exercise... Can you believe that I lost 14 kgs in 3 months just by walking 8 kms per day...

Easy peasy - stop using car and use public transport - go for coffee between work hours but have long black not the milk topped. Boost your metabolism even. - stop using interconnect, walk and chat with your collegues instead - After every 40 mins have a cup of water and don’t keep that entire frank green thermal bottle filled in the morning

Try to do 1000 steps an hour, don’t binge eat, or snack on junk food, cook at home, move about the house, shop on a fully belly and park the car far so you get to walk to the grocery store.

Good morning Dr. Pal. Yesterday coincidentally I watched one of your videos on You Tube and was surprised by the way you deliver health tips in a humorous manner. Thanks a lot. I am a teacher by profession and as you know we have to stand for hours on end while in class. I don't have a maid at home, means I manage all the household chores on my own except for the minimum help that I get from my family members. But, off late, I could see that my weight is increasing by a couple of kilos in spite of the regular work that I am doing. Considering the family responsibilities, I find it difficult to go for a walk on a daily basis and I don't do rigorous exercise like dancing, gym, cycling etc. Can you please suggest a few simple ways to bring my weight gain under control? I have not tried fasting since I am a bit apprehensive whether I will be able to manage my work at school without getting exhausted. Kindly guide.

The NEAT activity I am planning to adopt is using stairs whenever possible. I am a practising Lawyer in High court, but since there are lifts and escalators available I used them as much as possible. When walking with heavy files, I would still prefer it. But when walking free hand, I am planning to use stairs as much as I can.
