So can you actually daily drive a Dodge Challenger Hellcat or Hellcat Widebody?! Well that's what we find out in today's video. Ever since I took deliver of my Hellcat, dozens of you have asked me whether you can daily drive this 717 horsepower monster. I know this is a kind of older video to today's standards but this is new to me cuz I just bought a 2019 Redeye! You simply put high performance winter tires on your car I drive my ZO6 Corvette in the snow not intentionally but I drive all winter and if it snows I can still get home. Snow tires or winter tires on my F-150 Lightning as well both cars are known to be poor winter drivers however but the right tires and knowing how to drive you can drive anything. It also doesn't hurt to have a set of chains

One thing that worries me about mine with windows up it is so quiet I have had emergency vehicles sneak up behind me with sirens on. Luckily I spotted them in my mirrors.

I daily Drive my 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat everyday.it is the car I drive to and from work. And it's a manual. On highway I get 22mpg in city I get 17mpg.

Let me follow up the tires. Any Hellcat owner should know the factory PZero tires are for make smoke spinning and showing off. Period. They suck. So real drivers of Hellcats order Nitto Drag Radials for their rear tires in 275 or 305. They just work. I drive my car with drag Radials year round rain snow or shine. So if you drive your car correctly it's not a problem. But if it's snowing or icing too much I will drive my 4x4 Chevrolet Dually. More weight better traction for those conditions. The tires I paid 520 for 2 and 40 to mount and balance both. So wher is he getting his numbers high retail.

The stock tires on the car cost 300 each. Not much different than the numbers youre quoting. I said youd be looking at around 600 for 2 tires which is what you paid. Also the widebody has 305s so that's also the difference between yours and mine

@@SchwayZ I order the pzero tire online for just over $200 each. I think worst I seen them was $230 each. That is what I was really referring too. Nice car have a nice day.

You can go with a different tire brand fyi. Perelli pzero tho very good tires rate lower on treadware and hydroplane than competition go with the Michelin pilot sport also you can go to tire rack keep an eye on close outs and spends significantly less on tires

I have a 2020 Hellcat Redeye and have problems with it getting above 215 degrees. I was told the thermostat opens at 222 degrees. This seems to be high for me. I don't get a mile from home and it goes above 215.
