Helloooo fellow Hindustanis! We take a break from ranking everyone and for a change celebrate the culture we have. This video isn't to document every dance form that exists in India - it is just a fun trivia you can take when you want to quiz yourself. Let me know if we should have more of these! I'm curious to know what you think! Yo :)

I'm a Sri Lankan Sinhalese and have studied dancing during my school days. I guessed the states as, 1. Definitely from Odisha from the headdress and the waistband. But unfortunately, forgot the name Odissi. 2. Have seen this dance in Hindi movies... is it Deepika's dance from RaamLeela or the little Muslim girls' dance from Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. I guessed it as Gujarat. After seeing the answer I remembered that RaamLeela is a story in Rajasthan ;) ;). 3. Definitely Kathakali from Kerala. 4. Thought it is from Bengali due to their red colour sarees and red large dot in their forehead (Thilaka/ Pottu in Tamil). 5. Definitely Barathanatyam from Tamil Nadu. 6. Definitely Kathak from North Indian states. But not familiar with their dresses, it feels like something is missing in their costume. I think this is not the original dress of Kathak that I have seen, bcz I love kathak as a dancer. 7. Thought it was Barathanatyam at first, but we got that one earlier... Don't familiar with the plate thing. Now I can see the costume also has some differences. I thought it is from Karnataka bcz that girl looks like Susmitha Sen :) :) 8. Guessed that from near to the Himalayan regions or from North-East India. 9. Dance is similar to the song of Pinga of Bajirao Mastani. Guessed it from Gujarat bcz I think the story came from a Gujarathi family. 10. I have no idea about this and the first time seeing it.

In Kerala, Christians have a non classical dance form called Margam kali (and other non classical dance forms) which too is very entertaining to watch as well as to perform. for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD, but the gift of GOD is eternal life with CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD"- romans 3:23 so you see that EVERYONE has sinned and none of us humans are righteous. our sinful deeds and desires bring death thats not a naturaldeath but the second death but "For GOD So loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten SON that whoever believes in HIM Should not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16 GOD loves everyone, HE didnt want anyont to die and HE never wants anyone to! sin brings death but CHRIST gave HIS life, so we could find Life, HE was crushed for OUR iniquities, HE was hanged on that cross which WE deserved to,, But GOD LOVED US SO MUCH! JESUS was handed over by our sins and rosed up again to put us right with GOD. death couldn't hold HIM, YES HE IS RISEN!!! BY GOD HIMSELF! thats why GOD made HIM sit on the right side of HIS glorious throne. And gave HIM THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES THE MOST POWERFUL NAME!! GOD showed HIS love through HIS SON! If we confess our sins to GOD HE IS JUST AND FAITHFUL AND WILL FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND PURIFY US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS we can't ourselves earn our way to heaven cuz none is good , but CHRIST DID IT FOR US!! THE PRICE IS PAID! JESUS DID IT HE PAID THE PRICE FOR US! IF THE SON SETS YOU FREE YOU WILL FREE INDEED! and become GOD'S CHILD through HIS OWN SPIRIT! when GOD gives HIS HOLY SPIRIT you will be born again. and IF YOU CONFESS FROM YOUR MOUTH THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD ROSED HIM FROM THE DEAD YOU WILL BE SAVED according to the scriptures HE IS KNOCKING RIGHT NOW! will you be HIS CHILD
