Wow! I love Steve McDonald too. He’s so authentic and enjoyable to watch!! And thanks for the new idea with waterslide!!

Thanks! Yes, it seems like the graphic from a waterslide or a tattoo would stay in the mold, but it's pretty amazing what resin will pick up and hold onto!

This Was Amazing never knew you could put waterslide paper on a mold going to have to try this for Christmas ideas also You Do not talk to much your voice is so comforting and I looked at the description but didn’t see where you purchased the dog decal

Thank you!! It turns out I actually didn’t purchase the dog decal. I went to google and did a search on “free png dachshund graphic” and kept scrolling till I found that one.

Plasti dip makes all the difference. You can move it without tearing.
@Luxinda Жыл бұрын
Oh, it’s a lifesaver for me!! I tend to be so rough with my waterslides, especially full-wrap ones on tumblers, and Plastidip really does make all the difference.
@ashleywest55993 жыл бұрын
adorable tray!! sometime I put a bit of water under the area with a cotton swab before adding my waterslide and it gives it just enough lubricant to move around ... not sure if that would help with that type of mold but this is so cute so I definitely have to try!! great video thank you for sharing thus awesome idea!!!❤

Luv it!.. did you seal the waterslide after printing?
@Luxinda2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I seal my waterslides with 2 layers of Rustoleum clear spray, then a 3rd layer of Plastidip Glossifier (but that’s just my personal preference).

Cute! Could you use a clear gross or semi gloss spray to finish? Oh, and I tried your Tack-it method for glitter. Omgosh it works so well!!
@Luxinda3 жыл бұрын
Thanks!! Yes, you definitely could use a spray varnish to finish the tray, probably 2 or 3 coats just to add some protection. I’m glad tack-it worked well!!

Did u spray your waterslide with acrylic spray before you put it in water?
@Luxinda2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I spray my waterslides with 2 layers of Rustoleum 2X gloss clear spray then a final layer of Plastidip Glossifier (found at Walmart, Home Depot, or here: amzn.to/3k32Svj )
@karenhadden49803 жыл бұрын
Do the edges of the water slide show if you don’t cover them with something?
@Luxinda3 жыл бұрын
Not usually, but it is possible, and I don’t know of a sure-fire way to always prevent it. That’s why it’s advisable to trim the edges as close as possible to the graphic itself, which helps hide any potential telltale edge from showing.
@brittanybarritt19232 жыл бұрын
how did you prepare the waterslide? print and spray with acrylic?
@Luxinda2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I printed it on an inkjet printer, then sprayed twice with Rustoleum 2X clear spray paint, then a third time with Plastidip Glossifier spray.
