I think bc of the way it is set out it is easy... in another quiz, it said 'add these numbers together without a calculator or working out: 1000, 20, 30, 1000, 1030,1000 and 20" So people think 1000,1020, 1050, 2050, 3080, 4080. Then, when you add the twenty in your head, some people might get confused and say 5000 instead if 4100 bc 5000 is a more rounded number.
