Im glad someone else mentioned that play. It is a play that i believe will NEVER replicated, and i feel blessed to have witnessed that amazing feat of athleticism.

2 Vick plays, both with Falcons, 1 Barry Sanders, 0 Randall Cunningham. Too much recency bias.
The Lynn Swann catch was in Super Bowl 10, played in January 1976. The Steelers came from down 10-7 to win 21-17 against the Cowboys. Swann spoke about taking ballet lessons to improve his balance and dexterity.

I went to the Superbowl parade in Seattle and Marshawn was throwing skittles into the crowd. People were throwing him bottles of liquor and he would take a shot and throw it back. Dude’s a legend.

Two videos you should watch. Gayle Sayers had a short career but could almost be considered the best running back in NFL history. Injuries doomed him. He still got in the Hall of Fame. He scored 20 touchdowns his rookie year and had probably the greatest game of all time. He scored 6 touchdowns on a muddy field. Also, the greatest play in college or pro happened between Cal and Stanford. The Stanford band was already on the field thinking they had won when Cal scored on a kickoff return to win the game.

That didn't have the greatest catch I've ever seen, David Tyree's catch in the Super Bowl. He pinned the ball to his helmet with one hand while being hit and contested by a defender, incredible. Check it out.

Just came across this vid. About the discussion about reactionary component or training, I think it is both. Christian McCaffrey was in one of the plays, where he hurdled a guy for a TD. Yes, he reacted in the moment, but he also has an insane off-season training regiment where he trains specifically to make movements that are not usually natural to your body (like hurdling someone), so that once it comes to the game, it is just natural instinct for him because he has trained for it so much.

How is the original uploader gonna have "most athletic plays of all time" as the title and only have one Polamalu play? The man could have filled the length of this video with the athletic plays he made. He redefined the Strong Safety position.

Carbs during a game is a horrible idea. Simple sugars are ideal. Growing up playing sports, we use to eat oranges at halftime to get energy for the 2nd half, so skittles makes sense. That's why people carb-load a full day before a big cardio event, not during.

Are the highlights are a few years old? Justin Jefferson's catch against the Bills would definitely qualify as one of the most athletic plays of all time. I would love it if you reacted to the 2022 Game 10 highlights of the Vikings-Bills game, it was amazing!

Hey you guys! Here's what you need to know about the NFL (and this is tongue in cheek, cause I know you know your football lol) : Since 1980, the greatest organization in it is the San Francisco 49ers. Check out "best of moments" by Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Steve Young.."hardest hits by" Ronnie Lott. You wont be disappointed.

To be fair, Antonio Brown had about 7 concussions during his career. Some from dirty hits, trying to knock him out of tge game. He was a quiet unassuming young man when he started, involved in community services and other things. But as he grew Uber wealthy and had his mellon softened up, he got more and more bizarre

I played ball,the sticky helps,but if you can't catch even with those gloves you won't make catches you should,train without them wear them in game
@trippz_tha_don83233 күн бұрын
I feel like as reciever the gloves definitely helped a bit but you’re right, if you can’t catch you can’t catch. I only wore them for those difficult fingertip catches.
