Calvin isn't racist and anything he has to say about religious and ethnic displacement in the UK should be listened to. Enoch Powell has the rather unenviable place in British history as someone who predicted the macro-level problems of an immigration policy that was indifferent to the maintenance of a sense of place and nation, but in rhetorical terms that were easy to pillory and vilify. In the light of history, immigration from the Caribbean wasn't such a problem in the larger scheme of things, but the general analysis was apt enough. About Robinson's blog post, I would have thought it was impossible to write any sort of nuanced and accurate analysis of post-WWII immigration into Britain *without* mentioning Powell's contribution to the debate.

This is a thoughtful comment. I agree about the blog post. Nuance is missing everywhere. I think Calvin has done himself no favours in that regard. It's all about feelings and emotion. My 15 year old daughter said "Enoch Powell, that horrible man. " She has been taught,at school,o use him as an example of bigotry etc. Emotional wounds take long to heal

Iam not religious but listen often to Calvin and enjoy his reasoning on values for normal people on marriage, relationships, the state of nation etc. It is this modern church that pushes people further away. Calvin is a light in a dark world and may he shine brightly to help us navigate our journeys in the dark. At 56 retired due to huge poly trauma and severe brain injury following a accident 2017 he has helped me on my journey.

As a Roman Catholic I find that Calvin Robinson shouldn't be excluded for keeping God's commandments. This is what a Christian of any denomination should believe in and also promote. So thankful Calvin was able to be ordained by remnant Christians. I learned of him from his Oxford speech. Brett Murphy is also a part of the remnant standing strong on God’s Word. We in the USA are watching so many churches fall to evil. But God told us these days would happen. I was canceled from a new church music position myself due to my pro-America and anti-homosexuality views and was allowed no opportunity to address my accusers or the church itself. It was financially devastating for me. Thankfully that was a secondary job, but still a high paying one. I will guarantee there were members of that choir who are actively participating in homosexuality. They have infiltrated so many church music programs. Stay strong and know we are out here too. One day we will be able to greet each other in heaven. May we all pray for each other for strength, assurance and steadfastness as Christians who believe in the inerrancy and sufficiency of the Bible.
