Hello, Christian. I'm Nastia and I am from Russia. I've come across your channel and this is fantastic. It's fascinating how all that you're saying correlates with what I believe in as an English teacher. I just feel such comradery. Your approach to teaching and acquiring language is something that I've intuitively developed in myself. My journey of learning English started with self teaching. I never had a teacher. I listened to radio programs and podcasts, read language forums, dictionary articles. I really think that you can learn a language by yourself. Thank you for this video. I've sent it to all of my students.

After watching this video, I realized that the most important thing in learning English is a great love for the language and a strong, burning desire to learn it. If you don't have that, study something you are more interested in. Music, painting, singing, swimming, etc. Only what inspires you will bring you success.

Christian you remind me of a guy who taught me how to race a car. He took me for a ride in the neighborhood. Then, the next day He told me: "now you are the driver " take me to the baseball park, to make the story short, we did visit a lot of different places in my hometown and you know what? Eventually, I passed the test with flying colors. So, I truly respect your plans for the future and I will never forget your point: You don't need a book, you don't need a school to learn English. You just make your learning process very personal, like time I did spend learning how to drive a car right? Anyway so, again, you just incorporate English in your daily life, be realistic and soon you are going to learn English, you are going to be able to take part in a very colorful and interesting conversations. Thank you Christian for being such a great teacher. ADIOS ! ! !

I start to learn english since 1 year and 1 half and you help me a lot to improve. Really. Now , I use English with confidence, I don't think that I need to know all the rules for communicated with people. I'm from Argentina and I arrived to New Zealand in december 2019 and all your tips for learn were so useful. Actually I speak en english every day. Never I thought that I can do it like today. I'm happy that people like you exist. All people that you help all the life they'll remember you. Like me. Cheers and again thank you a lot.

That´s true ! I studied ENG for 10 years! From I´m 21 to 30 years old. When I was 40 I decided to study ESP, FRA & ITA by myself. I found out the way of catching the new languages easily. Finally I´m sure is pretty simple. Bravo Christian!

The best teacher ever. You explain everything better than a lot of teachers, in my opinion, you give alternatives and help us to find new ways to apply the theory. Thank you, we really appreciate all your hard work. 💪

Hi Chrystian, Thanks a lot for your support with helping us how to learn English. I fully do agree with you that learning from the books can be boring and ineffective. I am just doing all of that stuff you mentioned in this video since like 2 years by now. And you know that is the first time I can see the progress with my skills of a communication in English. I spent about 20 years with a longer breaks trying to learn English in a different English schools, with a slight effect. Than I told to myself I wonna change my life, work in a company I deserve with my experience, meet a people from the entire world and property communicate with them. I love travelling and know people story about. I love learning new stuff from them. What I did first, I quite from my present job and moved to Canada for a while. I chose an English school to go but I hadn't any single person around me speaking my own language. So I immerse myself with English and I needed to survive in this environment. School was ok, but that was the greatest I met a lot of people from different countries I keep i touch. We spent a lot of time exploring the city, in restaurant, I met a girl from Canada we plan to spend our next vacation together 😀 Most of the time I spend learning English without classes and books. I know that I have made an enormous progressive since I changed the way I learn English. Stiil feel like it is not enough and I am thinking I need to go to some college or univercity to improve my English and mayby I need to live in English speaking country for a while. Learning a foreign language it is about a time, will take many years and I am not so patent at all. I wanna speak as a native right now, come on.....
