In Italy, when we refer to a teacher of the university, we use to call him "Chiarissimo professore" ("very clear" professor), followed by his name. So, this is just what you are: very clear. Thank you Christian :)

teacher I want to know the meaning of "drive by" it's the song of train .does it mean drive a car by someone or the car was drive by someone.I think it's kind. of phasal word but I don't know the exactly meaning .if you have time please tell me
@Canguroenglish7 жыл бұрын
Hi! In this song 'drive by' is a metaphor for 'not stopping'. If you drive by something then you drive past it without stopping. So in the song he's saying that he didn't just want to see her for one night, driving by, he wanted to stop and stay and have a relationship with her. I hope that helps!

@nicfarrow6 жыл бұрын
Hmm. Usually, I am impressed by your clear and unpretentious style. This is, of course, unpretentious, too, and yet seems not to address, for me, one of the most common difficulties. For example: "She has long, straight blond(e) hair." I see three equal facts, and yet they only sound natural to me in this order. I have no clear answer, myself, beyond reference, perhaps, to one of those lists you mentioned, and those are, as you mentioned, more trouble than they are worth, I fear. I suppose I should, though, concede that "long" could be considered a subjective evaluation, perhaps, which would go along with your idea.(Look at all those commas I used! I must be a Brit!)

Well, It has no possibility to NOT be Italian, because it is made in Italy. But I certainly could be other colours. That's why it's more 'essential'.

I don't get it. Why Italian goes before black? If we put "leather" first it must be followed by "black" and "Italian" must be the third one. On the other hand, this Italian book is covered by black leather, so it could be "small black leather Italian book". "Small black Italian leather book" doesn't make any sense.
