Awww, that was fanny Christian! Bocconcini= 2 C and 1 N, that's the right spelling in italian. Now, how it feels to be tested, teacher? Hehehe! 😂 Anyway, you're absolutely right spelling words it's always a hard job, but don't worry you're still my favorite teacher anyway! 😉 hehehe! 💖

I strongly agree with you Christian, and there is one reason I would like to say so, this is because I think as human beings we tend to overcomplicate things, basically I would say that personally from my own experience, I used to look for “complex methods". But now, instead of doing that I prefer studying, reading, analysing things that I really love doing. Since, I changed my mindset I think everything works well, but keep things simple is the number one piece of advice we can get. Thank you Christian you´re simply amazing.

Unbelievable, after following this channel for a long long long time, I just noticed that it's name is writen in spanish! I swear! It happend at the biginning of this video, when I was wondering if that beautiful place was England or Spain, and that put my attention into the sign on the door of the academy

Watched as Christian had a spelling test - and it was funny. But I have a little remark. When you do some tests for yourself it's better to be honest. And if you have doubts about which of the options to choose - it means you do not know the answer for sure. So, if you're guessing, you just deceiving yourself by getting a better score, than you really deserve. Of course, if you're taking a real examination, in order to get a higher score - guessing is useful and must be applied. But in order to know a real estimate of your level - you should avoid it. So, when I have doubts about which of the options to choose - I choose the option which I know is wrong for sure. And therefore, I'm getting an estimate of my level of knowledge, not of my level of guessing. But Christian still the coolest coach.

Super great video !!! I'm from Italy and.. don't worry about "bocconcini" . Thank you for tell us the truth about learning English, you're always right. When I started to change my English practice, I've never stopped. My bad part of studying English were the long periods I paused because of boring and low point moment about that. But I just simply started to enjoy English without really "studying". You have to immerse yourself in English, reading articles about topics you're interested in, there are a lot of books you can read on your mobile phone, and the best part is that you have always available dictionary online or thesaurus ... Or you can enjoy music, singing sometimes in front of your screen, and mimicking your favorite singer (ok this part is most complicated to me because I like Ed Sheeran .. haha but it is a good exercise even for your mouth and your tongue...) so .. you have just to enjoy English. To me is better spend at least 10 minutes a day reading o listening a video in English, rather than doing 2 long hours and nothing for a week. ...and in addition it's important 'making mistakes' .. because if you don't, you can't improve and finally.. be patience with yourself :) - Maybe I've written straight off (without dictionary :p) but I really enjoyed your video! Thank you and keep this great work!

I like phonetic languages as Italian where you can spell and read from the start, literally at the first day you get acquainted with the language. It seems to be a linguistic paradise compared to English. The similar is French in which a lot more letters than sounds, quite a few rules but you always know how to wright and how to read any new word facing you.

Thanks for the advice teacher. Although I read a lot, i barely write in english because i don't feel confident and i make a lot of mistakes, but the only way to overcome this is doing it. Spell check software may catch some words and miss others. My best source is to always have an English Dictionary available to check any word (s) I am not certain of. And if I can not find that word in the dictionary for any reason (s)...this may include I am using an abridged dictionary, a bi-lingual dictionary, an out of date dictionary or I totally misspelled the word, I will think of a substitute synonym to use instead. Which is where a Thesaurus comes to the rescue. Then who knows as I am sorting through the list, I may even find the word I was originally intending to use. When reading a book it is not uncommon to find a word here or there I do not know the meaning of. Authors and Editors somehow seem to enjoy adding such words to texts, especially novels. So I stop reading and get this misunderstood word defined, before going on with my readings. Lastly, I am OK with the differences between North American spellings and those of the UK, as either is correct to use in any English Language spelling that I am writing. But then, there are those cross word puzzles.
