IMO Canik is #1 in the market when it comes to getting the biggest bang for your buck. Literally. All the features, mounting plates, holster, spare parts, cleaning kit all included. And some of the best triggers for striker fired pistols.

My first pistol was Canik tp9. Phenomenal, phenomenal gun. Thousands of rounds, no malfunctions. None. Came with two mags, carry case, holster, clip, mag loader and cleaning brush. 330 dollars! Those are bygone days now.

@@microplasticsinurblud If you have worries about it then I wouldn't go for it. I have never seen or used this gun you're talking about but if theres always a nagging thought in the back of your mind that you're betting your life on something snappy and unreliable its probably not the best fit.

I bought a Rival SFX Darkside after shooting a Mete. Accurate, reliable, great iron sights. Rival has a fully adjustable rear sight and a front fiber optic and a flat trigger. Best stock trigger out there in my opinion.

I have a tisas 45 1911 and a 10mm 1911. I have a Canik sc elite and tp9sf series. All 4 are the best guns that I have and never had a single issue.

I have the Yukon, 10 mm Tisas 1911. Had a fair amount of feed issue. Found the fixes on the AZ Trigger channel, made most of the changes, runs great now. Just ordered the LS, hopefully it’s as reliable and shootable as everyone says. Want to make it an edc option.

I love the whole Canik lineup. I have a MC9 for summer carry, a TP9 for winter carry, and a SFx for competition. They fit my hand better than the Glock, the trigger is exceptional, not just good, and the price cant be beat. The extras they come with really make the purchase feel worthwhile. Nice case, holster, 3 magazines, tool kit, backstraps for sizing. I recommend them to students, based on the fit in their hand. Thats always the most important thing to consider. It has to fit the person. My least favorite question ever is What is the best gun to buy?

I just bought this today as my first gun. Ive put 50 rounds through it so far, and I love it. For 560 I got the pistol, 2 mags, a holster, a cleaning kit, oil, and 2 boxes of ammo. Also, the tool it comes with is shaped like a gun, which is just so cool.

I have the Canik TP9 SA Mod 2 it’s an awesome handgun. Unfortunately as I am Canadian we are only allowed 10 round magazine. Other than that I really enjoy the tp9 sa mod 2 but I have noticed not many people have the mod 2 for some reason, at least the people I know/talked to and the gun groups I’m in don’t talk about or have one.

Just throwing this out there. If you buy the regular MC9 to go with the LS, you basically will have four different guns since the slides are interchangeable. If you put the short slide on the LS frame, you will have the MC9 L. You can put the long LS slide on the short frame and have...??? Four for the price of two. Tough to beat that deal. The Rival is a good choice as well, but it's pretty much a range toy.

I've had a number of fine pistols and revolvers. Springfields, glocks, sigs, S&W, ruger, colt etc. and Caniks I will honestly take Canik over any other. Many hundreds of rounds and never a failure. Super accurate and great triggers. Shoot 10" steel targets at 50 yds and the only other handgun can shoot with it is a tricked out S&W model 19 revolver on single action. Canik is an excellent handgun.

This a a great option without having to pay the outrageous SIG or Springfield prices. It is equal to, if not better than, either of those two, at $200+ less. (paid $419 for mine) M&P Shield Plus is another great option that is very similarly priced to the Canik. I don't even put the Glock 43X/48 in the mix with their Glock price tag, plastic sights, crap triggers, 10 round mags, etc.

Calling a Pot "smug" is one of the most American Things for me as a German, especially after having travelled through half of all Northern US States last Autumn/Fall In March i do all the Southern States from West to East. You do learn a lot more about the USA and it's States, Culture Differences and People when you spend a lot of Time there Can recommend that to anyone from a European Country and of course also recommend to all Americans to spend a lot of Time in European Countries! I’ve had Canik, Walther, Glocks, Sigs, CZs and other pistols. CZ has the best trigger followed by Walther and Canik. I current carry the Walther PDP Compact as my EDC.

Very nice gun. Turkey firearm manufacturers have really been knocking out some nice handguns. This seems to share some of the same features as the Tisas PX9 duty which impressed me so much that I got 2 of them. One is tan / Dark Earth and the other is "Nightstalker" Gray. They are both very modular to include "Red Dot" optical ready. The grip not only comes with different sized back straps but also different sized side panels. The Nightstalker has a tridium front site where the Dark Earth has a fiber optic. I have mounted a Streamlight TLR-1 on both of them. They come with 2 mags, an 18 round and a 20 round. I couldn't believe how good the trigger felt out of the box. 3 to 4 pound trigger pull. The price for both was about $270. On duty, I carry a Glock 19 at work, but these two guns just feel and look so much nicer. I like my Glock, but there is just something really extra cool about these 2 Tisas PX9s that I got. Good video Hickok45, look forward to seeing you demo the Tisas PX9.

I shot a regular mete mc9 a couple weeks ago. Really liked it, but I got somewhat bigger hands so I might go with a mc9ls or m&p 2.0 compact. But that new ruger rxl looks nice too

I have about 700 rounds (of 115 grain magtech steel case) through mine. never a malfunction with that round. The weird thing is, Hornady Critical Defense will not chamber. So I use it for range fun, and still depend of the VP9sk for the reals.
