Big Chungus Rapids is one of my fondest memories of Fiesta Texas.

If you've ever seen the Bugs Bunny cartoon, The Singing Sword, that is the specific cartoon this ride is themed after. I'm amazed at how it was squeezed in to Fiesta Texas. On my first visit to Fiesta Texas, this ride was already installed. I would be curious to see what occupied the space where this ride was built, probably nothing since this ride barely takes any space. I wonder if they built a new building for the station or repurposed an existing building?. The ride looks so "built in" one might think it was planned with the rest of the park from the beginning, but it really is a later addition.

They use to have the cartoon playing in the queue line, and a big tv you could watch it on right after the ride. Seeing the actual cartoon while in line was a nice touch for sure.

When my wife and I rode this we had no clue about the dragon sprayer and it got us drenched. Totally unexpected but funny at the same time!

Where would you rank this against the obviously "Penguin's Blizzard River" rapids ride at Kentucky Kingdom? Because so much of that has Six Flags written all over it I still consider it a Six Flags water ride.

I'm not usually into log flumes, but I like this one. I usually will ride it every visit, if the line is short.
