I stumbled upon your video by chance. And unexpectedly, this brought me back to 2006, when my wife and I did exactly the same canoe tour on our own. Experience of a lifetime - still remember every day, every camp, the fear when we were hit by a storm and the endless peace we met on Lake Laberge when the water was like a mirror and we seemed to be the only humans on earth, a tiny speck floating bewteen the clouds an the water. I took a feeling of awe with me that today still lingers in my heart when I think about this mighty river. "...There’s a land-oh, it beckons and beckons, And I want to go back-and I will." Thank you for reminding me. P.S.: Big shout out to the quality of your filming, storytelling and editing!

The production value of this show is splendid. Have you really recorded all that just 2 people paddling down the Yukon in 7 days? If that is so, it is hard for me to understand how you could do that? I mean one thing is to paddle down the Yukon. But if you are able to make an epic video account of it, at the same time. That's beyond my comprehension.

At 1:17:07 The high drone shot of the river shows the islands making an artsy, yet easy to make out, cockatiel; entire face and the water is its body even to an artsy form of its head feathers. We couldn’t be happier to share these adventures with people like yourself. Thank you so much for all of your nice comments. Hugo is our other dogs name. He’ll be 13 this summer and Betty Lou is 7 now 🐶.
