I stumbled upon your video by chance. And unexpectedly, this brought me back to 2006, when my wife and I did exactly the same canoe tour on our own. Experience of a lifetime - still remember every day, every camp, the fear when we were hit by a storm and the endless peace we met on Lake Laberge when the water was like a mirror and we seemed to be the only humans on earth, a tiny speck floating bewteen the clouds an the water. I took a feeling of awe with me that today still lingers in my heart when I think about this mighty river. "...There’s a land-oh, it beckons and beckons, And I want to go back-and I will." Thank you for reminding me. P.S.: Big shout out to the quality of your filming, storytelling and editing!

My favourite part of this video other than the epic scenery was towards the beginning when Ashley reminded Keenan about the time he tried to make a sail and had a bit of a melt down. Loved her keeping it real that it’s not all sunshine and tailwinds for a couple on a trip. 😊 Exploring those old ruins is amazing and even watching the video only you can almost see the past and picture it once a busy site that now time is taking back.
