Will the Canon 600EX-RT, 600EX II-RT & EL-1 provide AF Assist Beam on Canon EOS-R1 & R1? I know the AF Assist Beam is disabled by ATG on Sony cameras. And Canon flashes are better.

Hello Sir Can you suggest best trigger to use off camera flash for my Canon 5d Miii Canon 600ex rt ii Canon 580 ex ii Canon 430 ex ii ETTL is not important, I want to manually adjust the flashes from Camera or trigger. Newbie here. Thanks

Hi, Faisal! You can click canon.us/z4ltp to see the full line of remote controllers for the EOS 5D Mark III. These remote controls are designed to control the shutter and little else. All of your exposure settings and flash settings would need to be adjusted on the equipment itself. We hope this helps!

How will you trip the camera with Canon 600EX II-RT when one CAN NOT use Canon SR-N3 Cable?

Great question! Using the Linked Shooting feature, the master flash unit on the main camera can be used to trigger the shutter in a remote camera that has another Speedlite 600EX II-RT or Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT on it. No other remote device is required. We hope this helps!

So if my Canons (12) have N3 port. I can use Canon 600EX II-RT (12 mounted on camera-one set as a Master radio TTL while other 11 set on Slave radio TTL and leaving my N3 cables at home collecting dust). * Set Master radio TTL to "Link Shooting" * Set eleven into Slave radio TTL to "Link Shooting" Then I just pick up my Master radio TTL and press the Shutter Button, then all eleven cameras (Slaves in radio Link Shooting) will trip the Shutter of the cameras with or without TTL flash? Do you have a video of the setup? Didn't see Bruce, Rudy or Sly showing how to setup. Talking is good but video will be much better to understand. Also, the 600EX II-RT is built as good as the ATG/Nissin MG8000 Extreme? ATG/Nissin's has no overheating and no shutdown when using with ATG/Canon/Nissin/Quantum Turbo battery pack. FYI: ATG/Nissin is coming out with radio version but doesn't have the feature of camera radio remote shutter trigger. We've been using Canon camera/flash systems with ATG MRMC. But those N3 cables come loose often when the ATG MRMC moving around. Many pros are lost & don't understand want a great feature of using Canon 600EX-RT series with Canon EOS Utility are. If this works, then I will get thirty two Canon 600EX II-RT for my staff.

You are correct that with a Linked Shooting setup, you wouldn't have a need for other trigger devices connected to the N3 terminals. Although this isn't possible with all camera models, it is with most going back to 2012 and newer. Linked Shooting can be performed with up to 16 units, including both master and slave units. While we don't have a video demonstrating this, it is talked about in an article on our Digital Learning Center website. Well, I am putting on hold the marketing crap of the Sony SLT-A99 ii. Sony made the world's most expensive crap flash, Sony HVL-F60M. As no built-in RT and overheat & shutdown with lousy MIS foot. Any discount if you get Canon 600EX II-RT straight from you? Your tech toll free supports are just has good or better than Hasselblad and Nikon. Thank you for replying with much needed information.
