this is better than normal reviews. you show how it works and everything. ive been saving up money for over two years and i have around 600 dollars now. i had more but had to spend most of it to help my mother. she is unable to work because of chrons and fibromyalgia so i had to sacrifice a little bit for my mother. but still. i love the canon cameras. every time i see a video on them i get happy. i hope canon cameras drop a bit in price in norway though. its unbelievably expensive in comparison to other countries. but i guess thats what we get for not being in the EU. great camera canon. hope i get to buy one soon!

Sorry to hear about your poor mother. Also sorry to hear that the camera costs more in Norway. Your politicians have probably slapped on a big fat tariff on imports. Tariffs are a tax on consumers not importers.

Question, when I'm using shutter speed TV mode and adjust it to 1/1000 it turns dark. I never seen any object. Blackout. Why?

I bought it today, it has time-lapse. You have to put it in on movie at the top of the camera, then go to the top left on your screen (the movie icon). There you can set time-lapse

Hello. Can anyone help me? On Av mode, whenever I use f22, I get an overexposed image. The ISO is on auto. Shouldn't the Av mode be automatically adjusting the right ISO and shutter speed? On the other hand, there's no exposure issue at f3.5.

that is the point, the faster the shutter the less light going into the sensor = darker exposure

Any SD card that is class 10 will work very well. SanDisk, Transcend and Samsung are the best brands. If you are filming 4k, UHS-1 SD cards are best, but any class 10 card will be great for most people.

no, this camera has no input jack so you can't really do much about the microphone on the camera itself. Probably should've looked into it before purchasing, sorry.

Press it halfway. If you have the "Autofocus" selected (not the manual focus), the square on the touchscreen should turn green, not red (meaning the subject you are shooting is now in focus), and you are ready.

This indicates that the camera is reading or writing from the SD memory card. If you are seeing this for a long period of time you might want to try using a faster SD memory card and see if this helps.

Depends on what DSLR and what are you using it for,, if you want to buy a dslr at the same price, then buy M100, its no reason walking around with a big cheap dslr

This video did not mention much about video/movie settings - After many months of studies about this camera, I bought this camera at a higher price in January 2021 from Canon's authorized dealer in my country. Most essential movie feature, the frame rates - 24 fps and 60fps are missing!!! I am really disappointed and frustrated - My main need was video/movie, but I couldn't achieve it! anyone who reads this comment please check everything before you buy this camera in 2021, what you see in fancy Canon promotional reviews maybe not there when you buy the products?

I recently bought it and I love it! It’s perfect for me and it has everything I need or wanted on the camera. I literally surfed over the whole market of cameras with no budget and this was the winner and I’m absolutely happy and there are no regrets. For me it’s not a waste of money, it worth every single penny.
