Cheers James. I’ve been using CapCut on the iPad for a week or two and my next stage was to download it for my pc. I’ll get into this video when I get some time tomorrow.

no problem mate 😎 yeah it’s super easy to use once you’ve played around with it for a while and the fact it’s free is a bonus!

thanks 😎 yeah it’s a really really great piece of editing software AND it’s free! I can literally do so many things in CapCut in minutes that would usually take so much longer in premiere. good luck with it man!

WOW..for a newbie like me that's only used the DJI Mimo app , that seems like a minefield. Would love to eventually get into using something like that and start colour grading and putting music on properly. A question for you James. On Capcut is it easy to make a piece of music fit to your video? ie. Your video that's say 3.00 minutes long and the piece of music is say 3.25.
@james.loxton8 ай бұрын
give it a download and play around with it a few times and I’m sure you’ll be able to navigate round it with ease, you’ve got this 💪🏾 in regards to the music, if u had a clip of you that was let’s say 3 mins long and the music piece was 3.25, u can simply trim it down on the timeline to fit the exact length u want it

@@james.loxton Oh right,ok . Because I've never used that it's hard to get my head around.. especially the music thing. Hoping you could do a short video on that just to show how it's done. Thanks James.👍

I'll have a watch of this lengthy video and probably give CapCut a try. I am GenX but you have to follow the trends :D I've a SonyVegas guy, gave DaVinci a go and never really liked AdobePremier pro.

yeah, it’s definitely worth u having a play around with it because I’ve found there’s quite a few features included in it that will save u so much time compared to something like premiere pro and cos it’s free to download and use u have no commitment if u don’t get on with it 😎

@@james.loxton At the very first glance, I am missing auto crossfades. So, by pulling one clip's beginning over the end of the previous one, Vegas - for example - creates an automatic transition. I hate editor not being able to do this.

Why does my capcut layout look so different?

have u got things missing or is it just the layout that’s different?
