Got one for study for flying in house. Very very durable. I bought many spare blades but after hours of flying I couldn't break them. Had to buy a 16:9 helmet. Tried to fly in 4:3 but it's very hard for me. With the 750ma battery I got the 10m++ flying time. In the FrSky version of uncomfortable antennas - the blades cut them and there are no protective tubes in the kit. Antenna open area should be 31.2mm - otherwise your receiver will not work far enough

That thing looks like it's fun to fly, will have to add it to my list. BTW, try dual lock for the camera on small drones like this. If your not familiar with it, dual lock is kind of the love child of velcro and double sided tape. It locks it in rock solid without all the slop you get with velcro, but it's reusable like velcro. Just dedicate one mount to it and you can use the dual lock with it on any quad you can't do a proper mounting on. BTW, how about a short vid on setting up the voice prompts in the T-lite? I just got one and I like how you have yours set up.

Wanted to let you know your battery for the insta flight was fully charged. What happened was it came in high like 4.37v and the FC actually thought it was a 2s battery, and that's why it showed 2.xxv below the 4.3xv, that was what the voltage would be for 2s. You can set the battery high mark in betaflight to 4.5v and it won't happen again. So that was actually a just fine full battery flight. Thanks for the video!
@CAPTAINDRONE7983 жыл бұрын
Odd that the previous battery did not show the same.
@TuxedoFPV3 жыл бұрын
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 yeah it can happen from a very minute change in the battery charge level, so that when it first arms it checks the battery and that's what gets set. If you check in betaflight on the "Power & Battery" tab the "Maximum Cell Voltage" field, I bet yours is set to 4.4. Since these batteries normally charge to 4.35 if they happen to be overcharged a touch they could read as 4.4 and make it think it's a 2s battery. If you set that field to "4.5" this shouldn't happen again. And all this does is change the math for reading the battery, it's not going to draw more power or affect flight handling or anything. It's safe to do.

Does anyone know of a total newbie tutorial on KZbin or elsewhere to take you step by step explaining everything regarding setup. I spent about 3 hours today and couldn’t find anything on how to set this up out of the box if you have the PnP version which from what understand requires soldering of the elrs to the flywoo etc. but there are so many questions that are not addressed. There seems to be an assumption that you would already know so many details (that an absolute newbie would not know) for example when how do you update firmware on the elrs module? Do you need to solder an adapter to it to plug it into the the computer and then solder it to the flywoo? Where to you afix it to the flywoo etc. any help will be so appreciated. Thanks!
@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
The reason the FPV hobby never comes with instructions is because their are a million different variables because the hobby is wide open and non-restrictive like a DJI, Autel, Hubsan, Yuneec drone. In simple terms it works like this…. You buy a radio. You then have to learn how to setup a drone model in the radio. Next you need to buy an FPV drone and you need to know what receivers your radio is compatible with. So if you bought an ELRS radio, we’ll then your stuck with buying drones with ELRS receivers in them. If you bought a CROSSFIRE radio, then you are stuck with buying FPV drones with CROSSFIRE receivers, and if you bought a 4-in-1 radio, then you can buy FPV drones with a large selection of receivers. When you have all this, then you have to learn how to BIND the radio to the RECEIVER because different receivers BIND in a different way. Finally you need to know how to setup the drone in BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR. No soldering is ever required as long as you ordered the drone with the correct receiver that is compatible with the radio you own.
@hitlab2 жыл бұрын
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks so much for taking the time to reply! I’m actually up to speed with what you said already. My issue is the flywoo that you’re demoing in this video was gifted to me without the receiver. I believe it’s called PNP. I had yo buy the elrs receiver separately. It definitely requires soldering (which is not a problem for me as I am comfortable with DiY electronics) but the real problem is there is no specific details as to how to update the firmware on the elrs receiver. Do you do the update after you solder it to the flywoo nano of before with an adaptor and where do you fix it to the flywoo nano? I get the big picture as you laid it out the problem is the idiosyncratic details that veterans frequently skip over due to them being veterans which I suppose is why there is so little out there regarding how to with these details. I guess I have to contact the manufacturer. Thanks again!
@CAPTAINDRONE7982 жыл бұрын
@@hitlab If it is PNP and has a Digital Camera then that means it binds to the DJI FPV REMOTE (black one) and no receiver is needed. If it is ANALOG, then you need a receiver. Watch Joshua Bardwells video on ELRS to learn about firmware and binding. Also again watch anyone of a hundred of Joshua Bardwells videos on soldering up a receiver (normally it is a simple as connecting one wire to TX - transmit and the other to RX - receive).
